Western media and UK government silent and complicit
Israel has bombed a cancer centre in the Sana’a Governorate as part of Trump’s assault to protect Israel’s genocidal war on the people of Gaza. The airstrikes killed at least 31 people and injured more than a hundred others – footage showed bloody and limbless children in Yemen being rushed to hospitals because Yemen has stood against the bombing of Palestinian children.
As Yemen’s obligations under the Genocide Convention require member states to take every possible action against genocide, the Yemeni Houthis have interdicted shipping in the Red Sea and its surrounding waters, saying that they will end the blockade as soon as Israel stops killing Palestinians and respects the ceasefire deal it agreed in January – which is now supposed to be in phase two, which involves the freeing of all captives and the beginning of Israel’s withdrawal from Gaza.
However, the Israeli regime is clearly unwilling to withdraw and manufactured an end of the ceasefire – which it breached daily anyway – and rather than force Israel to keep its word and obey international law, Trump is now attacking Yemen while Israel last night murdered more than 430 Palestinians, mostly women and children, in mass bombing raids.
And the US attack on Yemen is following the same pattern – the overwhelming majority of the victims of its bombs and missiles have been women and children – including sick patients receiving treatment in the cancer centre.
The Yemeni government has issued a statement condemning the US and its enablers for the criminal action and called on the governments of the world to act to stop the targeting of hospitals and civilians:
We condemn and criminalize the blatant American aggression against our country, which targeted civilian objects, including medical facilities, where the American enemy aircraft launched several raids at dawn on Sunday, March 16, 2025 AD.
Targeted by deliberate shelling and destruction of the building of the cancer center in Saada Governorate under construction, in addition to targeting the drug stores of the Republican Hospital Authority in Saada, causing heavy losses and damage.
This attack is a full-fledged war crime and a flagrant violation of international laws and norms, and aims to completely eliminate the health system.
We hold the United States, the international community, and international and humanitarian organizations politically and morally responsible and the consequences of the targeting and deliberate bombing of medical facilities.
The international community must shoulder its responsibilities to stop targeting medical and service centers.
Yet while UK and US media have covered the US bombing and repeated US claims that it targeted miilitary sites, they have ignored the bombing of the cancer centre:
UK PM Keir Starmer and his government have not condemned the bombing. On the contrary, the UK assisted the US militarilt in its bombing raids despite Trump’s contempt for the UK.
Just as Israel has done in Gaza, the West Bank and Lebanon, the US is targeting the most vulnerable in the nations who resist it – a criminal, rogue and terror state like its Zionist client state and its poodle governments in the UK and elsewhere.

And it is not only the politicians who have become ‘moral monsters’. The same lies and excuses for empire and its victims measured in the tens of millions can be seen in the same tired evidence free tropes of “but Putin/Assad/Hussain/Gadaffi ” et al trotted out by the usual bad faith actors amongst us who desperately hold up this crumbling decrepit morally bankrupt system.
The worm tongue empty vassals deliberately and systematically echoing the gaslighting of The Official Narrative (TON) whose pathetic evidence free utterings project their own moral bankruptcy onto others to divert attention away from the crimes they actively support.
