Video: Israel shoots at Palestinians as they gather to break Ramadan fast

Terror state uses drones to target Iftar meal-goers – including children

A Palestinian child hides from drones in Rafah.

Palestinian journalist Mohamed Amra documented last night an Israeli assault on a Rafah mosque as the occupation lay siege to civilians preparing to break their Ramadan fast:

Israel breached its obligations every day during the supposed Gaza ceasefire but has now abandoned the ceasefire completely and is attacking civilians constantly. The targeted people at the Rafah mosque, who included many children, were forced to take refuge for more than half an hour before the drones moved off. Because of its proximity to the Egyptian border, the people of Rafah have managed so far to scrape together enough to break the fast for now, but Israel’s total – and entirely criminal – blockade of food, fuel, electricity and other essentials for life is biting hard.

  1. Barbarians!
Really recommend the latest New Left Review and Tariq Ali on how the USA maintains its hegemony in the Middle East:
“The US embarked on a global policy of divide, occupy, buy and rule” in a policy supported by the supine UK & EC.
When will the Arab people be free from their tyrants and Western & Israeli Occupation Force interlopers?
Great pieces on Trump, & on Neo-Liberalism too. The Left needs a global counter narrative driven by IDEAS.
