Starmer and Lammy remain silent
Yesterday, a mob of Israeli Jewish settlers pushed Palestinian shepherds Ghanem and Mohammad Zawahra off a cliff, after severely beating them, near Tubas in the occupied West Bank near the northern Jordan valley. Settlers have for some time been harassing and attacking Palestinian shepherds, trying to chase them from their pastures in the area.

Miraculously, according to Palestinian news agency WAFA, the two men survived the beating and fall. The extent of their injuries is unclear but are certain to be severe.
The horrific attack is just the latest in a constant series of attacks by settlers – usually protected by Israeli occupation forces – on Palestinian civilians in the occupied West Bank. The attack came a day before the nomination of extremist settler leader Daniella Weiss for a Nobel Peace Prize for ‘community building’.
Settler attacks on the Palestinian area of Musafer Yatta feature prominently in the documentary No Other Land, which last week won the Academy Award (Oscar) for Best Feature Length Documentary and shows the fatal shooting of at least two Palestinian civilians by settler gangs.
UK PM Keir Starmer and Foreign Secretary David Lammy have not condemned or even mentioned this latest atrocity, nor have UK ‘mainstream’ media.

And when they’re pleading for their miserable skins, I will wash my hands, Pilate-style. They’ve forfeited any claim to pity.
I dont know if the two victims were brothers, but I’m reminded of the deaths of Xie Zhen (The two-headed snake) and Xie Bao (The twin-tailed scorpion) in the classic Chinese novel The Outlaws of the Marsh (Probably best known to the heathen masses as “The Water Margin”)
Eventually, they were avenged.

I am sure Starmer would be “really appalled” as he replied to Zarah Sultana at PMQs yesterday when she questioned him about Israel blocking aid. No doubt the knives will be being sharpened as I write…..
