Israel breaks international law, blocks aid to punish Gaza for not abandoning ceasefire conditions

Starmer silent as occupation resumes blockade, prevents international aid entering because Palestinians would not agree to abandon agreed terms

Israel has announced it will prevent the entry of aid trucks into Gaza – yet another blatant breach of international law – because the Palestinians have refused to depart from the agreed ceasefire timetable by extending ‘phase one’ of the agreement, which has now ended. Israel wants to evade the start of phase two, in which it had agreed to withdraw its forces from Gaza.

Israel has breached its obligations under the deal from day one, blocking the entry of tens of thousands of tents and shelters and shooting and bombing Palestinians daily, as well as never allowing in even close to the agreed number of trucks carrying food, fuel and other essentials.

Now it is openly announcing that it will commit a crime against humanity, re-imposing the starvation blockade with which it killed thousands of civilians during its ongoing genocide, because it isn’t getting its own way in discarding the agreed timetable and actions altogether – the actions of a rogue state and a terror state. UK PM Keir Starmer, naturally, has remained silent about this blatant criminality, even though he has found time to post on Twitter about Ukraine.

  1. … well what else could Netanyahu do? I mean if he’s forced to go onto the next phase of the ceasefire, his government will fall apart and then there’s a real chance those fraud charges will pop back up to bite him … choices, choices, eh?
