Albanese: Israel is a ‘mafia’ killing 40 children daily – and lack of political and press coverage is racist

UN Special Rapporteur pulling no punches

Francesca Albanese, the UN’s Special Rapporteur for human rights in the occupied Palestinian territories, is relentlessly smeared and attacked by Israel and its supporters – and small wonder, when she has fearlessly exposed Israel’s crimes and stood up for the Palestinian people.

And the last couple of days have been no different. Ms Albanese weighed in on the BBC’s shameful capitulation to the Israel lobby in deleting its documentary that exposed, for all its flaws, just a little of the suffering faced by Palestinian children and young people in Gaza under Israel’s genocide – comparing Israel’s ‘vindictive’ and intimidatory tactics to those of the mafia and calling on everyone to be louder in outing and resisting them:

And at the same time, she highlighted the horrific rate at which Israel is murdering Palestinian children – a ‘decades-long tradition that has escalated into genocidal acts’ and is killing around forty children a day in Gaza and the occupied West Bank – and called out the shameful and racist silence of politicians and corporate media:

Ms Albanese was ‘quote tweeting’ Defense for Children, who were highlighting the cold-blooded and cowardly murder of two Palestinian children, shot in the back by occupation forces from inside armoured vehicles:

And she continues to highlight the crimes of wanted war criminal Benjamin Netanyahu and to speak out regardless of the attempts of Israel and Israel-supporting western governments to silence her:

Israel is a rogue state and a terror state – and, yes, along with its supporters in colluding governments and Israel-lobby pressure groups, of whom Keir Starmer is one of the worst, a mafia.
