‘Hannibal’ order to kill everyone regardless of nationality given ‘in various places’ – confirming what we already knew and Israeli press had admitted, yet UK media/govt remain silent
For months now, in fact since barely a month after the events, it has been clear – and ultimately admitted by Israel media – that Israel killed hundreds of its own people on 7 October 2023 through the repeated use of the ‘Hannibal directive’ mandating the slaughter of everyone in an area, regardless of nationality, to prevent Israelis being taken captive by Palestinian militia.
Despite this being openly discussed by Israel’s media, UK and other western media have ignored it – deceiving their populations and allowing pro-Israel propagandists to repeat this and other false claims, without challenge or scrutiny, to excuse Israel’s slaughter of Palestinian civilians.
But now, Israel’s former defence minister – the man in charge of Israel’s military response at the time – has admitted on Israeli TV that Israel did issue the ‘Hannibal’ order ‘in various places’, killing its own:
In fact, the order was given throughout 7 October, as often as every twenty minutes, from early in the morning until after nine at night, in at least eight locations in southern Israel, including the kibbutzim and the Nova music festival where hundreds of Israelis were incinerated in their cars by missiles from IDF helicopters.
Despite this clear admission, the fact that many Israelis who died on that day were killed by their own side is still being ignored by UK media and the UK government. Not one ‘mainstream’ UK news outlet appears to have mentioned it and both Keir Starmer and Foreign Secretary David Lammy have, unsurprisingly, ignored it completely, as it exposes the UK government’s collusion in war crimes.
Lammy has, however, found time to post again on X about the ‘agony’ of well-fed Israel ‘hostages’ and their families and been ‘ratioed’ in response by people asking when he will mention the much greater suffering of the hundreds of thousands of Palestinians murdered, maimed, starved and frozen by Israel during its genocide, or of the many thousands of Palestinians held and tortured by Israel without charge or process:
At the very least, one of the few anti-genocide MPs in Parliament must raise Gallant’s admission as an ‘urgent question’ in the Commons to put them on the spot.

So keef wouldnt arrest the misnomered gallant for being a war criminal; but he’d be arrested and handed over to benny & beelzebub smotrich for inadveretebtly grassing them & hisself up, if they demanded it.

Went 2 a great meeting in my city on Sat 8th Feb after our 65th March for Palestine.
Was chaired by a brilliant Professor & there were also 2 great Palestinian speakers.
But I didn’t agree with the Professor when he described our marches as “Performative.”
I would argue with our banners, flags, placards & chants we are trying to engage with the masses and politicise people re Palestine.
And in our city our star activists give out 2,000 (possibly more) PSC leaflets on the March every week & they engage with the public so x64 that’s about 130,000 leaflets we have given out.
At the meeting I said:
And at every March usually 2 to 3 Lumpen Zionists turn up & laugh at us & mock us a
plus whilst laughing they say “What have you achieved?”
So I thought about this?
WE (all the marchers & protesters in other actions here in the UK & worldwide have contributed to:
*The FT reported that by Dec 23 the Occupation Force’s economy had been hit by £40b so by now that’s probably £300b+ which is unsustainable.
*And BDS is working: Starbucks has lost £12b, McDonald’s has had to give up every single franchise in the whole of the Middle East, Barclays has cut it’s £30m+ In Elbit.
*Some companies, universities & councils have divested from the Occupation Force and this is growing in number.
*The USA has lost its moral and intellectual leadership of the world (New Left Review) and I would add the West too and in a hopefully more unipolar world this could be seismic for humanity.
*The oppressed of the world has generally woken up over Palestine.
* We have seen Western politicians as they really are and WE will never forgive and forget.
*And to an extent the Occupation Force is vilified all over the world.
*Organisations around the world have also disrupted arms production for the Occupation in Palestine.
(And all OUR actions have been peaceful, WE the supporters of the Palestinians in the West have not physically harmed ONE human being).
I concluded that I would never tell Palestinians what to do, I just support great Palestinian thinkers who I believe come up with great ideas like the late great intellectual Edward Said and an emerging intellectual I.Olymar who both have called for One Multi-Ethic Democratic of Palestine from the rivers to the sea, and Olymar also argues for “A new grassroots Palestinian approach.” Yours in Peace & Solidarity.
