Israel fan gets blocked by cab firm, deletes Twitter, after smearing Palestine-supporting driver

Ken Book claimed he and his Israeli wife were ‘trembling with fear’ in car they got into after seeing pro-Palestine sticker

Credit card company CEO Ken Book has deleted his Twitter account – and his wife has had her account banned by ride-share company Lyft – after smearing a driver who had a Palestine sticker on his car as ‘Jew-hating’.

Book claimed that the sticker – which in fact simply says ‘Palestine’ in Arabic – was calling for the murder of ‘killing…’Jews in the Middle East’ – but it didn’t go well:

From what records remain of Book’s account, he appears to be a die-hard genocide-denier, endorsing Israel’s mass destruction of Gaza and regurgitating propaganda that everywhere was destroyed because ‘Hamas was using it’ – despite this being self-evident nonsense since Israeli troops were free to wander round, say, a university building planting demolition charges

Book’s antics didn’t go well. The ride company blocked his wife’s account – it seems it may have been reinstated after interventions from US Israel lobbyists and pressure groups – and he was derided overwhelmingly and emphatically in the responses to his tweets:

The negative response appears to have been so overwhelming that Book deleted his X account, which remains offline at the time of writing:

The incident is yet another example of the sense of entitlement of supporters of the rogue genocidal state despite the mass of evidence of its war crimes and crimes against humanity – as seen in the UK just last week with the Met Police ban on, arrests and prosecution of and violence against an anti-genocide march in London because Israel’s advocates consider their feelings and comfort above the plight of millions of Palestinians who have been bombed and starved by Israel for well over a year.
