Protesters targeted and arrested during march for Gaza during state assault on right to protest – read on to see where help is needed
Palestine Solidarity campaigners have put out an urgent call for support at four London police stations, where anti-genocide campaigners – including a founder of Stop the War – are being held after arrests, some of them violent, during today’s march for Gaza. A bulletin to supporters reads:
Unfortunately we are aware of a large number of arrests at today’s PSC march and are standing up arrestee support at HAMMERSMITH, ISLINGTON, PECKHAM and SUTTON police stations
🔥🔥We need support at HAMMERSMITH from 1am
At PECKHAM from 10pm
At ISLINGTON from 10pm
At SUTTON from NOW – no one is able to get down to Sutton so far, support desperately needed!!
A few supporters have since been able to get to Sutton but more numbers are needed at all the locations.

The Met Police’s behaviour is becoming like Germany. How dare they. When marchers who are the sole visible voice of protest against the mass killing of innocents are suppressed in this way, deliberately, then we are close to barbarism. I am SO angry.
