Israeli anti-Zionist taken again into police custody for reasons not yet given
Jewish Israeli anti-genocide campaigner Yael Kahn, who lives in the UK, has been re-arrested around 11am this morning by the Metropolitan Police.
Kahn was arrested in early January after giving a speech outside the residence of Israel’s far-right UK ambassador Tzipi Hotovely and held for almost twenty-four hours – one of many UK Jews persecuted by the state for standing up against Israel’s slaughter of hundreds of thousands of Palestinian civilians. Jewish campaigner Tony Greenstein’s trial under misused anti-terror legislation begins on 31 January and supporters are expected to gather en masse at the opening of the case at the Old Bailey.
In November 2023 Ms Kahn was also arrested after refusing to remove a sign she was wearing describing ‘Nazi Israel’ and its genocide of Palestinians as a ‘final solution’ similar to the slaughter of Jews by the Nazi German regime.
No grounds for the renewed police harrying of Ms Kahn, whose family was killed by the nazis in the Holocaust, has yet been made public. The Starmer regime is engaged in an ongoing campaign of the misuse of anti-terror legislation to harass, raid, arrest and prosecute UK journalists and activists who expose Israel’s daily war crimes in Gaza.
