‘404’ result greets would-be JC readers as BBC et all ignore arrest of right-wing Labour former minister
The right-wing, pro-Israel, anti-Corbyn libel-factory The Jewish Chronicle has deleted its coverage of the arrest for alleged paedophilia yesterday of the right-wing, pro-Israel, anti-Corbyn former Labour government minister Ivor Caplin, as the rest of the so-called ‘mainstream’ media continue to ignore an arrest that would be non-stop coverage for days (at least) if Caplin had been a left-wing Corbyn supporter.
The solitary article, by Imogen Garfinkel, was titled “Former labour MP and veteran’s minister arrested in Brighton Yesterday”. However, any attempt to read the article now results in a ‘404 not found’ result:

UK ‘mainstream’ news channels have also almost entirely ignored the arrest, with the BBC covering its back (more than the arrest) by publishing a single article on the BBC Sussex pages about the arrest of an unnamed ’66yo local man’ and not providing Caplin’s name, let alone his political history.
The Tory Spectator did cover the arrest and included a picture of Caplin. However, its headline does not mention his name at all, or what he was arrested for – instead describing the arrest of an “Ex-Labour MP… days after attacking ‘unacceptable’ Elon”.
The contrast with the coverage that would have resulted if Caplin was on the left, or an opponent of Israel’s genocide in Gaza, could hardly be more stark. However, this is hardly surprising considering the ‘MSM’s stubborn refusal to cover the serial sex abuse cover-ups of Caplin’s factional ally, PM Keir Starmer. For more on that scandal, read here.
