Greenstein faces trial later this month as Starmer regime continues to abuse anti-terror laws to persecute anti-genocide activists and writers

Jewish leftist and anti-Zionist Tony Greenstein spoke today to hundreds of fellow anti-genocide activists in Liverpool after the city’s weekly march against Israel’s slaughter of hundreds of thousands of Palestinian civilians in Gaza. Greenstein’s trial under the Starmer government’s abuse of anti-terror laws to target human rights writers and activists, but he was in no mood to compromise:

    Yet peaceful protestors like Tony Greenstein are treated to 7 a.m. arrest visits; 5 young protestors jailed before trial; more recently a 77 year old woman languishing in prison because the outsourced organisation supposedly supervising her release cannot find a security tag small enough; and many many more examples of police and prison being used to crack down on peaceful and legal dissent. Utterly shameful use of the state apparatus by the Tories and now carried on by Starmer.
