Breaking: 5 Kamal Adwan doctors killed in one day by Israel

War crime of targeted murder of medics continues

Israel’s war crime of targeted murder of medics has continued today in northern Gaza with the slaughter of at least five of the besieged Kamal Adwan hospital’s doctors and staff:

• Dr. Ahmed Samour (pediatrician)
• Israa Abu Zaida (laboratory specialist)
• Abdul Majeed Abu al-Aish (paramedic)
• Maher al-Ajrami (paramedic)
• Fares al-Hudali (maintenance specialist)

Israel has murdered around 1,200 medics, paramedics and hospital staff since October 2023, as well as abducting and torturing – in some cases to death – many more. Kamal Adwan hospital – the last real hospital in Gaza still functioning, has been repeatedly attacked and is currently under siege, with its intensive care unit, maternity and paediatric departments, oxygen and power supplies repeatedly bombed, shelled and fired upon.

The five murdered doctors came on the same day that five journalists were murdered in Gaza in their clearly-marked press van when it was targeted by an Israeli aircraft or drone. Israel has killed more than 200 journalists as it tries to cut off the flow of news out of Gaza of its continual war crimes and crimes against humanity. More than 200,000 civilians have been murdered so far during the genocide, mostly women and children, and two million more are being deliberately starved even as the relentless bombing continues.

Keir Starmer and his Foreign Secretary David Lammy stubbornly refuse to acknowledge or even mention Israel’s crimes, let alone condemn them – instead providing both political cover and material aid to the genocidal, apartheid regime. Starmer has even promised to protect journalists while ignoring Israel’s murder campaign and persecuting UK journalists who expose its crimes and lies.
