Exclusive: UK media serving ads with anti-UN Israeli propaganda

MSM appear to be colluding in starvation of millions of Palestinian civilians

UK media appear to be serving Israeli propaganda to their readers that are designed to discredit United Nations aid agencies and promote Israel’s agenda to starve and ethnically cleanse Gaza.

Some readers visiting, for example, an article in the Independent about TV show Lost, which has no link to Gaza, were presented with images showing a supposed Hamas fighter – Israeli propagandists have been known to impersonate them – and then the same character wearing a headband bearing the letters ‘UNRWA’, the acronym for the United Nations refugee agency for Palestinians, which Israel has long tried to discredit:

These images are then followed by a new version asking ‘Paychecks for terrorists or humanitarian aid?’ and inviting the reader to ‘Learn more’:

The image links to an Israeli government site (archived here) claiming to have ‘uncovered’ ‘United Nations bias’ and linking UNRWA to the 7 October 2023 raid by Palestinian militias:

In fact, the United Nations investigation into Israel’s allegations – allegations that prompted western governments to withdraw funding for UNRWA, the main agency distributing food to Palestinians in besieged Gaza – dismissed nine staff (of a total staff of around 13,000) and cleared ten of those Israel had accused. The allegations against the nine dismissed staff were found to be unsubstantiated and uncorroborated, but UNRWA fired them anyway ‘in the interest of the Agency’. A statement from UNRWA Commissioner-General Philippe Lazzarini noted that:

In April, an independent Agency-wide review by three reputable research centres under the leadership of former French Foreign Minister Catherine Colonna concluded that UNRWA ‘possesses a more developed approach to neutrality than other similar UN or NGO entities’. The Agency has started implementing the recommendations of the review” and is fully committed to them.

Despite this, the Israeli site continues to push its narrative and UK media appear to be helping.

Israel has long tried to discredit UNRWA. It has repeatedly bombed UNRWA schools, warehouses and offices – and recently passed legislation banning it from operating in the occupied territories. The Israeli government has been exposed buying up mass Google advertising to push its anti-UNRWA narrative – and appears to be still doing so – a screenshot of search results today shows the Israeli propaganda site as the top result:

The UNRWA ban and Israel’s food blockade have put all the more than two million people in Gaza in imminent danger of death from starvation and diseaseespecially in northern Gaza, which Israel’s military has completely cut off. Despite this, Israel continues to attack UNRWA’s funding through these ads, with the aid of UK ‘mainstream’ media outlets.

  1. The UNRWA officially embodies Palestinians’ right of return, therefore it is a target of Israeli propaganda – and worse. Insofar as the UNRWA is the main source of food for Palestinian refugees, the hostile MSM is complicit in using starvation as a weapon of war and ethic cleansing.

Re. the computer game, the UK CT police definition of banned terrorist groups now extends to a fictional organisation fighting illegal occupation! It is however acceptable to play gangsters, murderers, rapists and Nazis. Now tell me we don’t live in a fascist state, gaslit by Zionists…

    1. Steady there, Dave.

The site’s resident village idiot will be along to label you “gullible” if you keep posting stuff like this.
