Video: Corbyn harassed by pro-Israel group outside anti-racism conference

Jeremy Corbyn a moment before the ‘friends of genocide’ started in on him

Supporters of Israel’s slaughter of Palestinians harried former Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn on Saturday as he arrived to speak at an anti-racism conference in London.

Some members of the pro-Israel group came toward him, loudly accusing him of antisemitism and demanding to be allowed to stand wherever they wanted, as the venue’s security intervened between them and the Islington North independent MP. Others in the group held a banner insisting “There is no genocide in Gaza.”

Israel has killed as many as 200,000 Palestinians, overwhelmingly civilians and mostly women and children, with children between the ages of 5-9yrs the biggest age group of those slaughtered, and is engaged in a campaign of deliberate starvation of two million more, including around 400,000 kettled in northern Gaza and designated as terrorists.

Corbyn addressed the conference as part of a panel themed: “After Trump wins: Resisting the rise of the international far-right – Opposing racism Islamophobia & antisemitism.”

International legal and humanitarian experts are clear: Israel is committing a textbook genocide in full view of the world, ignored and denied by complicit politicians and media.
