Rogue terror state continues its war crimes
An Israeli drone has attacked a United Nations convoy as it waited at a checkpoint in Sidon, Lebanon injuring at least six newly-arrived Malaysian United Nations ‘Unifil’ peacekeepers. Lebanese authorities said that Israel’s strike killed three Lebanese civilians and wounded three Lebanese soldiers.
Footage released by the Lebanese showed the aftermath of the unprovoked attack:
This is not the first time that Israel has targeted Unifil peacekeepers. The invaders, who have failed to make significant gains on the ground and have taken heavy losses trying to, have shelled a number of UN outposts and even used chemical weapons against peacekeepers on at least one occasion, as well as using white phosphorus on nearby villagers, a war crime that created caustic smoke that enveloped the area, including UN bases.
Israel began its assault on Lebanon with a series of terrorist attacks that killed and maimed thousands of Lebanese civilians, including children – and has escalated its indiscriminate bombing of Lebanese civilians as its ground campaign failed, destroying whole villages and neighbourhoods, killing and wounding thousands and targeting journalists and medics, in a chilling re-use of its genocide tactics that have killed and crippled hundreds of thousands of civilians in Gaza, overwhelmingly women and children.
