Israeli media carry report, ignored by UK ‘msm’
With the ‘west’ distracted by the US presidential election, Israel has announced the complete partition of northern Gaza – and has designated the hundreds of thousands of civilians still living there as combatants and therefore targets.
The KAN channel, Israel’s equivalent to the BBC, has covered the IDF’s partition announcement, with a correspondent reporting that the military considers the forced removal of civilians complete – nobody who has left will ever be allowed to return, according to Israel’s plan, no aid will be allowed to enter the north, and all who remain are considered “terrorists”, going on to say that:
This time there is no intention to allow the residents of the northern Gaza Strip to return to their homes… there are no more civilians left north of Gaza City.
The United Nations estimate that there are still 400,000 civilians besieged in northern Gaza, where no food has been allowed to enter for over a month and refugee camps and hospitals have been relentlessly bombed.
This announcement, which Israel appears to hope will be ignored by media talking endlessly about which colluder in war crimes will live in the White House, marks another whole set of clear war crimes in Israel’s endless parade of atrocities.
