Israel’s military has achieved nothing but war crimes. One war criminal is made to take the fall by another for domestic consumption
Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu has sacked Yoav Gallant as defence minister over a supposed ‘crisis of trust’.
Both men have been critical of each other. More importantly, both are the subject of UN Chief Prosecutor Karim Khan’s request to the International Criminal Court for arrest warrants for their war crimes against the Palestinian people.
But Netanyahu is playing to a domestic audience, trying to push the blame for Israel’s failure to achieve anything but the mass slaughter of civilians and destruction of homes, schools and hospitals in Gaza, and now also in Lebanon.
One war criminal sacks another to save face. Both should be in prison in the Hague.

Both should be on the gallows in the Hague more like!
Yep lock them up and throw away the key.
And the USA & the Western politicians who jump to the USA tune, apart from arms profits & wanting a share of the profits from more of Palestine’s land, gas & oil, haven’t fared much better.
Now half the world is organised against them via BRICs, and “The USA has lost its moral and intellectual leadership of the world.” (New Left Review).
And the Occupation Force had taken a £40b hit to its economy by December 2023 (FT) plus those disinvesting from Israel seems to be increasing.
And the oppressed of the world have now seen Lightweight Western politicians as they really are and we will never forget.
Perhaps the world is slowly turning for the better.

Agree, we need that genocide to stop sooner rather han later and those rearends to be arrested, charged given lengthy prisonsentenced, and throughout those undertake reparation for the war crimes they have committted.
