Doctor Eid Sabah desperate call as Israel targets civilians, first responders for mass murder and detains medics

Dr Eid Sabah of Kamal Adwan Hospital in northern Gaza sent the following horrifying statement this evening at just before 6pm UK time, as Israel bombed the hospital and surrounding homes and refugee camps in its campaign to exterminate or drive out the whole population. Please read it and share:
In truth what is happening in Beit Lahiya, throughout north Gaza and particularly in the region around and in Kamal Adwan Hospital are horrific incidents regrettably that have likely never occurred in any society. This morning the targeting of a number of multi-storey buildings that have within them more than 300 displaced Palestinian refugees, of women, children, elderly and men. With extreme sorrow there cannot be found a single functional ambulance, nor civil defence to rescue these people who were targeted whilst they were in their houses in [presumed] security.
Whomever is injured, remains on the ground, whomever is martyred, regrettably, it is not possible to transport them, except by cart or a cart and mule.
Regrettably, whoever is under the rubble, martyred or injured, there is nothing to be found in the way of civil defence rescue, or transport that would be able to get to the targeted sites.
And whoever tried to get to the targeted sites and areas that have been bombarded, they will also be bombarded.
This is what is occurring on the streets of North Gaza, the targeting of anyone who moves with whether it is with quadcopters, or F16 fighter jets, or rifles, or tanks, North Gaza is being hit with every kind of weaponry.
The burning of homes, the burning of institutions and what is happening inside the hospital is a greater horror so that the hospital has regrettably been subjected to a fierce attack by the occupation forces, who vandalised and targeted all ambulances, 5 ambulances, transport vehicles, the oxygen generator station, the electricity generator, the water systems and storage, the energy station, the pharmacy division, the clinics, the maintenance facilities, all of these facilities and the internal facilities are destroyed along with equipment and supplies.
This is including the essential healthcare workers that are needed to provide the services at Kamal Adwan; surgeons, neurosurgeons, orthopaedics, general surgeons, vascular and plastic surgeons, anaesthetists… all of these specialists have been arrested, along with our specialist nurses such as intensive care nurses, neonatal intensive care nurses, emergency care. We only have one doctor who is a paediatrician along with the Director of the hospital, Dr Husam Abu Safiyeh, who is also a paediatrician and is unable to provide surgical services.
There are over 150 injured patients now in the hospital and nothing can be offered to them in terms of treatment inside the hospital. There are no medical equipment, no medicines, no oxygen, no ambulances to transport them or to bring them [the injured outside] to hospital.
The situation requires serious action and accountability from the WHO and the highest level of leadership at governmental level, at institutional level, with humanitarian and legal rights to come to the aid of our healthcare institutions with urgent rapidity, so we can save the health [and] lives of those injured and sick.Whoever receives a head injury now will be only looked upon by the nurse, the matron and the doctor who are now in the hospital as their life leaves their body.
Whoever needs an urgent surgery to stop internal bleeding, will continue to bleed as those in the hospital look upon them until life leaves their body.
Numbers of injured, numbers of wounded are dying in our arms [the healthcare workers] as we are unable to offer any medical service except for first aid that cannot save lives.
Our message to the whole world is honest and clear; [we need] our specialist healthcare staff to be released and returned to the hospital, secondly we need medical delegations to enter North Gaza and Kamal Adwan, especially neurosurgeons, orthopaedics, general surgeons, vascular surgeons, plastic surgeons, anaesthetists in order to save the lives of our people. To let nurses in, to let medicines in, equipment that are necessary for the functioning of the hospital, solar power, nutrition… this is of great urgency. We call on the world, the United Nations and world leaders, to defend the rights to provide medical care and the rights to receive medical care during these horrific times.”
Dr Eid Sabah, director of nursing, Kamal Adwan Hospital, northern Gaza.
Israel is bombing and starving the people of Gaza, and particularly northern Gaza, until they either leave or are all dead. The US, UK and German governments are not only standing by, but supporting and enabling these war crimes. The UK government said this week that it is unhelpful to call the extermination of hundreds of thousands of innocent civilians ‘genocide’.

To my mind, Deutschland, United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland and the United States of America are complicit with Israel’s Gaza actions.

How can it NOT be so? about 2,000 years ago, a specific Palestinian Jew reportedly said “Ye should judge them by their fruits” – people do not judge a tree by its leaves, bark, or flowers, but by the fruit which it bears.
