Israel’s Katz claims ‘almost every country’ has condemned Iran’s retaliation. Only 11/206 have

In his pout at UN’s Guterres, Katz puts foot in mouth

Israel’s foreign minister Israel Katz, in his petulant announcement today that he has banned UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres from entering Israel, claimed that he is outraged that Guterres hasn’t fully bought into Israel’s impunity and its right never to face consequences for its actions, because Guterres has not joined ‘almost every country in the world’ in condemning Iran’s retaliation for Israel’s terrorism and mass murder in Gaza and Lebanon.

Or as Katz put it, Guterres has not ‘unequivocally condemn[ed]’ Iran’s ‘heinous attack’.

But Katz was talking from an alternative orifice when he claimed that ‘almost every country in the world’ has ‘unequivocally condemned’ Iran’s actions. In fact, of the 206 countries recognised by the United Nations, only eleven have condemned Iran’s retaliation – even assuming all of them did so ‘unequivocally’.

Who says so? Well, the extremely pro-Israel American Jewish Committee (AJC).

The AJC has created a page on which it lists all the countries who have condemned Iran’s actions, titled:

Tracking Which Nations Have Condemned the Iranian Regime’s Ballistic Missile Attack on Israel

And according to the AJC, the only countries that have (at the time of writing) are:

  • Austria: Federal Chancellor Karl Nehammer
  • Bulgaria: Minister of Foreign Affairs Ivan Kondov
  • Cyprus: Ministry of Foreign Affairs
  • Czech Republic: Prime Minister Petr Fiala
  • Germany: German Foreign Office
  • Greece: Ministry of Foreign Affairs
  • Hungary: Prime Minister Viktor Orban
  • Netherlands: Minister of Foreign Affairs Caspar Veldkamp
  • Romania: Foreign Minister of Romania Luminita Odobescu
  • United Kingdom: Prime Minister Keir Starmer
  • United States: President Joe Biden

Presumably, the other 195 nations of the world – most of whom voted only a couple of weeks ago in the UN to end all trade with Israel until it stops its genocide and ends its illegal occupation of Palestine – are also on Katz’s banned list and are not allowed to enter the genocidal apartheid state.

  1. Katz means all the NATO members and other European colonial-settler states.

    1. ⚠️⚠️⚠️BECAUSE Sir Snouter, FreeGear Keith Starmer claims he’s done no wrong, The Venal Establishment Knight & Jimmy Saville Saviour has just been embarrassed into repaying £6,000.00 six THOUSAND pounds of FREEBIES he gobbled up in the last few months alone!!! The £6,000.00 only covers some of the free tickets, clothing, dresses, suits, makeup etc etc etc since he began SQUATTING in the PM office
      ☢️😳☢️😳☢️😳

    2. The ‘international community’.

Headline in the Guardian this morning:

“US warns Israel: We won’t support attacks on Iranian nuclear sites”

It would appear, then, that the U S does have influence over Israel.

It certainly did back when President Reagan rang PM Menachem Begin:

“Fierce Israeli bombing Aug. 12 of West Beirut prompted a phone call hours into the raid from an angry American president to the Israeli prime minister.

Begin said he returned the call later to affirm that all the bombing and shelling had ended.”

  2. Petulant wee boy, stamping his feet and having a tantrum.

I suppose that’s better than dropping bombs on their family, or destroying their family home, on a whim.

Many on that list of countries I can – sort of – understand because of their history with the Jewish people. I’ll assume the UK and US are, still thinking of the oil and gas reserves.

The Cypriots and, possibly, the Greeks are concerned about their proximity to Israel. The Zionists likely to dispatch their rape squads to Cypriot and Greek beach resorts to destroy the tourist economy.

  3. Would never consider visiting Israel, nor buying anything known to have been sourced in Israel. Talk the nation down at any opportunity. It’s what Israel has ‘earned.’

  4. My Goodness, this Katz fellow comes across a bit like a Starmer drone! That Lord David Lammy’d better watch his back. Benjamin Netanyahu’s not likely to need a foreign minister for much longer – and might donate Israel Katz to Sir Keir Starmer – FREE!.

  5. Well I dont know if this is a coincidence – but “Katz” is the name of the political Party
founded by deceased member of Israeli Parliament “Meir Kahane” sometime in the
1980s or 90s(?) Kahane was so racist that the other members walked out every time he spoke.
“Katz” was eventually declared a Terrorist Organisation by the then Israeli Govt after Kahane
was convicted of Terrorist Crimes .. and he was subsequently assassinated.

I did read that there was an attempt to rehabilitate and Sanitise Kahane .. and start up
“Katz” and in addition there is a kind of Junior “Katz” youth organisation called Meir ..

Israel is getting steadily more right wing and with (sadly) little opposition..according to “Haaretz” ..

PS My hubby indignantly informed me that Starmer had made a speech stating that “We”
support Israel and followed this up with “Well I dont! ” .. and I responded “And nor do I!!”

    1. Even today MW the followers of Meir Kahane admit to leadership roles in White Supremacist organisations in America.

FWIW – Militant Zionists in Israel are v divided and a major problem for Netanyahu/Likud.. Go to wiki and it’s all out in the open under ‘kahanism’:
Kahane argued that there was a glory in Jewish destiny, which came through the observance of the Torah and halakha (Jewish law). He observed, “Democracy and Judaism are not the same thing.”[74] Kahane was of the view a Jewish state and a Western democracy were incompatible, since Western democracy is religion-blind, and a Jewish state is religion-oriented by its very name. He feared non-Jewish citizens becoming a majority and voting against the Jewish character of the state: “The question is as follows: if the Arabs settle among us and make enough children to become a majority, will Israel continue to be a Jewish state? Do we have to accept that the Arab majority will decide?”[75] He also said that “you cannot have Zionism and democracy at the same … Western democracy has to be ruled out. For me, that’s cut and dried: There’s no question of setting up democracy in Israel, because democracy means equal rights for all, irrespective of racial or religious origins.”[76]….”

Extreme! No wonder US and even Israel designated him a “terrorist”. Even Sir Keir might have qualms about defending him? Maybe not.

  6. About the statement:
‘almost every country in the world’ has ‘unequivocally condemned’ Iran’s actions. ..”

Its the word “unequivocally” that I object to ..

Its possible to object to both condemn Irans actions as escalating the situation
and also points to Netanyahu and his Right Wing mates as being responsible for
    the whole thing

Ordinary people .. women .. children etc are paying the price for this in increasing
areas of the Middle East ..

Meanwhile there are a number of Arab Countries with a possible Peace Plan
guaranteeing the security of Israel but they have been ignored ..

Must go .. the whole thing is so depressing ..

  7. Does katz get his bullshitting bent from trump, or the other way around?

How DO these people get elected?

  8. And just WHO the effiing eff actually wants to go to israel?

I wouldn’t even flush fhe khazi on the plane if it was flying over the degenerates

  9. OMW, just this minute came across this, which is the first I’ve heard about it (posted on December 4th):

Israel investigates possible trading knowledge ahead of Oct 7 Hamas attack

Israeli authorities are investigating claims by U.S. researchers that some investors may have known in advance of a Hamas plan to attack Israel on Oct. 7 and used that information to profit from Israeli securities.

Research by law professors Robert Jackson Jr from New York University and Joshua Mitts of Columbia University found significant short-selling of shares leading up to the attacks, which triggered a war nearly two months old.

“Days before the attack, traders appeared to anticipate the events to come,” they wrote, citing short interest in the MSCI Israel Exchange Traded Fund (ETF) that “suddenly, and significantly, spiked” on Oct. 2 based on data from the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA).

“And just before the attack, short selling of Israeli securities on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange (TASE) increased dramatically,” they wrote in their 66-page report.

    https://www.reuters.com/world/middle-east/israel-investigates-possible-trading-knowledge-ahead-oct-7-hamas-attack-2023-12-04/

    Please circulate far and wide.

    1. Careful now, AH.

If the mere mention of building 7 WTC makes someone antisemitic

    2. I think that there may have been a similar thing with American Airlines just ahead of 9/11.

    3. It just occured to me that I should have pointed out that it’s highly HIGHLY unlikely that anyone on the Hamas side would have done so and, as such, potentially risked alerting Israel to a possible attack. But then, thinking about it, Hamas couldn’t have been 100% certain that Israel had no idea that they were going to attack. And if BN and Co DID know (which they did of course), I don’t think it would ever have occured to Hamas that he and his fascist buddies would deliberately let it go ahead.

GB, the more you think about it the more complicated and convoluted it gets!

  10. What would it take to throw Israel out of the UN, can the Yanks and their arse licks stop it happening
Any nation facing a plausible case of Genocide should at least be suspended
