Turns out ‘more of the Tory same’ doesn’t get a ‘honeymoon period’

Keir Starmer’s ‘Labour’ party saw huge falls in vote share in last night’s local by-elections, suffering double-digit losses ini a slew of areas and losing seats to the disgraced Tories in some.
Starmer’s party lost to the Tories in Westminster with a huge swing:
Labour lost Bromsgrove in the West Midlands to the LibDems with a massive 27-point swing – Labour’s vote fell by more than twenty-nine points while the LibDems gained almost twenty-five:

In St Albans, Labour lost to the Tories:

Labour held onto its seat in Falmouth, but suffered a huge loss in votes that went to the LibDems and Greens:

In Hartlepool, Labour held on but bled votes to fascist ‘Reform’:

In Sussex, Labour haemorrhaged votes to lose again to the Tories:

It turns out, to the surprise of very few, that ‘more of the Tory same but with a red rosette’ doesn’t get much of a ‘honeymoon period’.

I’m shocked, I tell you. Shocked!
Where was the warning from this site’s resident opinion poll enthusiast?
Slacker.
In less than a 100 days in government the “honeymoon” is over and it isn’t going to get any better.
SPREAD this news FAR and WIDE and OFTEN!!!
Phone radio programs EVERYWHERE and EVERY DAY!
Give MAXIMUM publicity to this FOCUSED proof that Sir Keith Starmer’s TRUE LOSER and gobbler of every FREEBIE and £££ from even Hedge Funds, and STILL an election LOSER.
The last GE was a revulsion to the Tory A-side, NOT any acceptance, let alone deep of Sir Keith & Co.
In fact the failure of OUR lot with great influence to go out everywhere everyday telling the GENERAL electorate TRUTHS that Starmer is a LIAR, protector of alleged SUPER RICH rapists, KNOWN pedophiles and hob knobbers of The ESTABLISHMENT, and the open SABOTEUR of the GE17 and 19 potential wins, that FAILURE allowed Starmer to squeeze over the line with a PLUNGE in vote share from 2017.
Things don’t just happen. WE, must MAKE it happen🎊🛎️🎊🛎️🎊🛎️
Agree with you.
The challenge is to finish off the cheap and nasties, don’t let them anywhere near power ever again
The Fuhrers job is to destroy the Labour party to allow Tories back in and to be fair he’s made a cracking start
Good news is the electorate will be screaming out for a clear choice and ripe for change from the ‘single transferable party’ Richard Murphy
Article in today’s Guardian reports on “Labour Together” report which says that Labour’s main threat is still from the right.
The problem with this analysis is that it only considers direct threats to Labour seats. Independents and the Green Party can only win a few seats (no mention is made about the direct threat to Labour from the SNP).
But there is also an indirect threat. The Green Party may not win many seats from Labour next time but it could cost it many more seats indirectly by taking votes from Labour and causing the Labour Party to lose to, say, the Conservative Party.
I cannot say I am surprised by Labour First’s faulty analysis.
And here is Starmer trying to promote WWIII:

Incidentally, ‘Starmer’ spellcheck sometimes has ‘Starver’ as one of the options. Prescient, perhaps.
The ‘Loveless Landslide ‘ was built on pure apathy
FPTP means you only have to get one more vote than your nearest rival
The anti Tory vote needs to concentrate on putting up one candidate, there will be 5 years of work on this put into every community, not 5 weeks
