US paediatrician Dr Tanya Haj-Hassan has spoken to the national gathering of US Democrats about what she saw when as she volunteered to treat wounded children during Israel’s genocide in Gaza. Dr Haj-Hassan described children who have lost limbs, lost entire families – and spoke at some length about a little boy who had lost half of his face and neck and whose blood vessels were on display, yet didn’t realise how severely injured he was and kept asking for his sister, who lay burned and dying in the next bed.
She described how the little lad’s remaining family had been killed in the same attack, how so few plastic surgeons remain in Gaza because so many have been murdered or driven out by Israel – and how the boy told her the following day that he wished he had died too. Israel is a terror state that has invented atrocity propaganda to justify its murder of 200,000 innocent Palestinians in Gaza and continues killing, maiming and disfiguring, every day, little children, their families and the doctors trying to treat them.
