Scenes of appalling police violence against peace protesters have proliferated as German state cements collusion in Gaza genocide

Amnesty International has demanded an investigation into the brutal repression by German police of pro-Palestine protesters.
The German state, which is fundamentally Zionist and has just passed, in the middle of Israel’s genocide in Gaza, a law requiring new citizens to pledge their support for Israel, has used police violence repeatedly against supporters of Palestinian human rights and freedom protesting against Israel’s slaughter of around 200,000 civilians in Gaza. Even calling for a ceasefire has been met with brutality.
Amnesty’s Berlin office has put out a statement:
German police continuously respond with violent repression of activists, raiding organizing spaces, amongst other repressive tactics, systematically criminalizing dissent to Israel’s genocide in Gaza.
We are concerned by videos & reports of excessive use of force by police against protestors at a Palestine solidarity demonstration in Berlin on Saturday.
We demand independent investigations into the police officers involved.

The same the world over. 😕
Although I did note that not one of those Berlin plod pulled their firearms(s).
So let us here in blighty be grateful that plod aren’t routinely armed. (For now…but keef’ll ‘fix’ it for them)
We all know what it’d be here…
*Checks notes*
“Well m’lud, I only shot the deceased thirteen times while he was restrained because I was in genuine fear for me life….and that of my colleagues – who were in the process of kicking him unconscious. The convulsive twitch he made [due to being tasered simultaneously by five of the fifteen colleagues present] startled me and I made the split-second decision that it was a deliberate attempt to relieve me of my sidearm….Pee-tee-oh…
*Nonplussed, thousand-yard stare – takes hat off to scratch his balls*
duhhhh…uhhhhm…Oh yeah….
*Flips page of notebook*
…It was only when I’d finished reloading that I realised he posed no further threat, as he remained completely still”.
Don’t laugh….keef has made it clear the plod have already got carte-blanche to blatantly disregard the law with impunity.
They’ll be armed before keef’s term’s over.
The German police have no history of such actions. Have they?
As Jeffery Sach’s notes here……

…whilst handing a gob smacked and silent Piers Morgan his arse on a platter (and not before time) the police of the US’s German vassal state have a long way to go and a lot of catching up to do compared to the US military in that regard.
