Starmeroid Home Secretary went to anti-refugee heartland to make video pandering to racists

Home Secretary Yvette Cooper last week put out a watery statement condemning the racist rioters who were trashing refugee and town centres and attacking Black and Asian people – but that doesn’t mean she’s not happy to pander to them and seek their votes.

As Skwawkbox and others have pointed out, Keir Starmer and his red Tory drones have eagerly fanned the flames of hate and bigotry when it suited them – and only a handful paid the price by losing their seat in the election.

So just before the general.election last month, Cooper made a trip to Tamworth to do a bit of bigotry-fanning, appearing with Starmeroid candidate Sarah Edwards to promise to ‘close the asylum hotels’:

Not even a month later, she was condemning the fruit of the seed she and her boss sowed – and are trying to exploit to outlaw peaceful protest and pursue anti-hate, anti-genocide and environmental protesters.

Peaceful protesters who are receiving sentences roughly twice as severe as those given to the racist rioters, by the by.

  1. Starmer’s cabinet – Yvette Cooper in this example – are as bad and repugnant as the shockingly anti-immigrant MP for Tamworth, Sarah Edwards.

And thanks too skwawky for confirming that peaceful anti-fascist protestors are receiving sentences roughly twice as severe as those given to the racist hate-filled rioters. Sick.

  2. Mizz balls has multiple homes; for which her and her weirdo husband have claimed thousands of pounds in expenses.

Maybe she/they vacate one (or more) for asylum seekers?

I mean, they’d no doubt hit the taxpayer for their accommodation, and keep a portion of it for themselves – just like they held back a portion of their wedding guests’ discounts to go towards paying for their nuptials.

    1. **wedding guests’ hotel accommodation discounts, which, IIRC, the ballses kept around 30% of.

Anyway here’s the link ..(sorry it’s from the heil but that who he did the interview with)

The Eastbourne hotel said, ‘The normal room rate for a weekend off-season would be £50 a night bed and breakfast – but given that you’re going to have the whole wedding here, we’ll reduce the price to £20.’ We said, ‘Well, in that case, the reasonable thing for us to do is to reduce the room rate to £29 for guests and use the other £9 to help us pay for this expensive wedding.’ We sold all the rooms. We were hard up and we had to make it work. I don’t regret it for a second

Hard up…Despite both being on MP salaries.

No, you avaricious weirdo, you wouldn’t regret it.

      1. They don’t regret much, either of em, Toffee: callous unfeeling people.
They’re the definition of psychopaths. Psychology Today could have been thinking of them when they reported:

“In their professional careers, higher-functioning sociopaths and psychopaths are nakedly ambitious, shrewdly exploitative, and ruthlessly aggressive. They often maneuver their way to positions of power and status in business, finance, politics, media, and other prominent fields. They attain success at the unethical expense of using and abusing others. Examples may include the business executive who cuts employees’ living wage and healthcare for higher profit, the financial advisor who defrauds clients’ life savings for unscrupulous investment, the politician who scapegoats and demonizes “undesirable” groups to incite his following, and the media talking head who shocks and offends to gain notoriety and exposure. Sociopaths and psychopaths achieve their objectives through the relentless, immoral pursuit of power and personal gain, leaving a trail of human suffering and societal damage in their wake…..

  3. She has a track record of this going back at least a decade. Talks a good game but doesn’t deliver. Obvious attempt to garner votes.

This dog whistle flip flopping is not to be confused with house flip flopping

    1. Doesn’t even talk a good game. She was utter shite when she shadowed tess may. Now she’s turned into may.

  4. Is it wrong for the government to “Clear [the] Backlog and End Hotel Use through fast tracking asylum decisions and returns to safe countries”

    1. Clearing an (ginormous) Tory-created immigrant application backlog would be a GREAT thing to do, SteveH,

BUT the new ‘Labour’ government is doing more. It’s carefully promoting and publicising the perception that it is as intolerant of, or disturbed by IMMIGRATION as Tommy Robinson and the English-Defence-League yobs.

Cooper campaigning with Sarah Edwards, the vile PPC who became the constituency’s ‘Labour’ MP on Independents Day (04-Jul) to close the local ‘assylum hotel’ is evidence of this.
(FWIW that particular ‘bridging’ location, was being used by c 300 Afghani people who felt the need to ‘flee’ the Taliban after New-Labour’s illegal war there).

Point is, this pretend-‘Labour’ government is dog-whistling to the fascistic far-right and its press-sympathisers rather than just fix the issue and it is thus FAILING to provide leadership:
“‘A genuine leader is not a searcher for consensus (to exploit – ed ) but a moulder of consensus.’ – Martin Luther King Jnr.

      1. And besides, even a pretend Starmer ‘Labour’ government isn’t opposed to migration (see Starmer’s mutinous Brexit policies) – but in 2024 Gaza-aware Britain, it can’t hide its abject Islamophobia and its Hierarchy of Racism.

    2. In a context in which any Country on the planet which fails to bend the knee to the Western Oligarch class controlled IMF/World Bank cartel which impoverishes their economies for the benefit of private Western Multinational interests finds itself the subject of punitive sanctions, colour revolutions organised by Western money using fifth and sixth columnist compardors,
followed by being bombed back to the stone age for not crying ‘uncle’………

…….it would be useful, Billy, for you to provide a list of these fabled “safe countries” which is based on a common definition of the term “safe” rather than a self-serving self-definition designed specifically to justify an untenable argument.
