GMP claim appalling brutality to man tased on ground was because he might grab their gun

Shocking video shows extent of wanton violence against man already helpless – and against another who was sitting with no attempt to resist, as well as against bystanders who appear to be appealing for calm – force claims they were a threat

Shocking video footage shows appalling police violence toward two unresisting – apparently Muslim – men, one of whom lay on the ground after being tased – and casts serious doubt on the force’s claims about what took place. The man was kicked brutally in the face as he lay on the floor, followed by the armed officer stamping on his head as he lay stunned and the man’s mother tried to protect him, leading to a punch in the face inflicted on her too. The incident was filmed at Manchester Airport.

A second man, sitting to the side apparently in shock, is then dragged from a chair to the ground and kicked viciously to force him face down on the floor. Neither show any sign of resistance:

Greater Manchester Police put out a statement claiming that the men had been part of an ‘altercation’ and an assault on officers that left a woman officer with a broken nose:

No injured officer seems to be either in the main video footage or video recorded from a different angle, which shows armed officers threatening bystanders who appear to be appealing for calm, then assaulting at least one of them:

Eyewitnesses described what they saw:

At Manchester airport a police officer came to arrest the Asian man in blue. As they put the handcuffs on him they pushed him onto the machine and started beating him. The abused Asian man had a friend/brother who was sat on bench and tried to push the abusive officers off but then the officers pulled their taser guns out and the first Asian lad (in blue) also reacted in self defence against the abusive police.

During the scuffle the elderly mother seen in the video got punched in the face which rightfully caused the two Asian men to become more aggressive in defence of their elderly mother. A snippet of how violent and unnecessarily aggressive the officers became is seen in the video including a full swing kick with steel toe caps into the face of the tasered man on the floor.

After this one of the officers intentionally punched the elderly mother square in the face, so the Asian man in red told them ”What are you doing, you are hitting an old woman”, whilst he went to pick up her slippers that have fallen off. She was only trying to protect her sons from this violent harassment.

At the time the Asian man in red and his immediate family were the only other Asians around at the time so the police assumed they were with them and also began abusing him and his family. The police gradually became more rough and aggressive with them just for recording the whole event and protesting the police to stop being so violent. The two younger brothers of the Asian man in red got pepper sprayed.

The officer lost his phone during this scuffle so they started searching the Asian man in red and took his phones off him which were four, including his brothers’ phones which he was holding onto. The officers in the initial scuffle left and a new set of officers came and started harassing the Asian man in red and his brothers attempting to taser them. The 2 younger brothers of the Asian man were locked up and are still in jail on 24/07/2024.

A longer video published by 5Pillars appears to corroborate the witnesses’ account, as well as showing further violence against the elderly mother as bystanders try to help her, and a officer kneeling on the man pulled from the chair, who appears to be bleeding from his abdomen, even though the victim had already been zip-tied and was helpless:

Black former independent MP Claudia Webbe commented:

A gang of serving police officers engaged in brutal violence They call this policing by consent, building trust and confidence. The victims are Muslim. Our silence guarantees police impunity. We cannot be silent or silenced This is Manchester, England.

  1. Ever so often, ordinary members of the public, including several lone female corner-shop owners, or elderly women with their shopper rolling bags and walking stick, SUCCESSFULLY confront and chase away, EVEN armed robbers.

QUESTIONS: Why do trained police so often FAIL to do same???

Here and in the USA, when people are gunned down even when running away, and killed point bank, the murdered are almost ALWAYS non caucasians. WHY❔

NB: ALWAYS, after the police, murder people, they always spout over the top hysterical claims of being “scared”, “afraid their weapons would be grabbed”, they “thought the victim had a concealed weapon”, the person they abused or murdered in cold blood “showed extreme strength” or were “violent”.

SUGGESTION: UK / USA Police should be trained by corner-shop owners and little old ladies, who show infinitely more courage and competence than our disgraceful murderous “institutionally RACIST” and “institutionally CORRUPT” police.

    1. In reply to snw’s post.
Starmer as DPP was intimately connected with many police killings and CPS decisions not to prosecute the killers. Examples?
      *– Jimmy Mubenga: In 2010 Jimmy Mubenga, an Angolan migrant, died when three security guards hired by the Home Office used lethal force to prevent him from leaving his deportation flight. The CPS reviewing lawyer ordered that the killers should not be charged and Starmer approved the decision despite a subsequent inquest which found that their actions were unlawful;

      *– Blair Peach;
      *– Jean Charles de Menezes : In 2005 Jean Charles de Menezes, a 27-year-old Brazilian migrant, was racially profiled by Metropolitan Police officers who mistook him for a terrorist suspect and shot him seven times in the head when he boarded the Tube at Stockwell station. Ken McDonald approved the initial decision not to prosecute the killers as he accepted a series of falsehoods issued by the Met. However, during the 2008 inquest, the police narrative was demolished by eyewitness testimony and video footage, leading the jury to reject the official claim of “lawful killing”. The case was sent back to Keir Starmer, but he refused to prosecute the killers;
      *– Alfie Meadows;
      *– Mark Duggan.

Starmer did more to ensure the non-prosecution of Police brutality and murder than any single individual in British history.

      1. INDEED ✅✅✅ Don’t think enough people realise how sordidly wicked and heartless Sir Keith Starver the Kid Starver is.

Those who won’t hear will feel, but even worse, cause the many who need meaningful change, to feel the harsh results of Kid Starver’s plans.

    1. Oh… the official statement says three plods. Northwest news said four, earlier on.

I’d like to see the CCTV of plod getting put on their arses…. but it didn’t happen – for reasons outlined in my above post.

Anyone prepared to set odds on a camera malfunction? 😙🎶

  2. How many more times must we see out-of-control racist police abusing and assaulting innocent members of the public … Just because they think they can get away with it.
What lessons can we learn from this ?

  3. Three officers were ‘engaged’ in a violent assalt. It’s what they do but at whose bequest? More bad apples!

  4. Similarities with the murder of Dalian Atkinson; plod repeatedly kicking an unarmed and incapacitated man in the head, while claiming fear for their own bacon.

    Must be in their training.

And let’s not forget, the sow in the Atkinson case, walked, after beating the poor sod repeatedly with its baton – also while atkinson was incapacitated.

The one in this case apparently suffered a broken snout, so will not only milk as long as possible on the sick, but will also get compo, and won’t even face a charge.

And nor would the rest, if keef had his way. He used to prosecute terrorists, y’know?!

    1. Similarities also with the black American woman in the news just now who was shot in her own home by the very Plod she called out to deal with a toerag outside her house. The instantly dismissed Plod whinged in his defence that when she went over to the cooker he was afraid she was going to launch the pot of boiling water on it at him from across the room!

Yeah, course she was. Message being, if you’re black, don’t risk either calling the regular Plod about intruders or driving a car in case you get pulled over by traffic Plod. It always ends the same way.

  5. I think its just a matter of time before riots kick off. Tensions are still running high in Leeds and something like this could spark it off again I hope it does’nt but any more incidents like this especially punching an OLD Asian woman in the face for no reason at all goes to show how Racist these police are I wonder if Starmer has brought these police in from Israel its their kind of law

  6. This “appalling brutality” is but an example of an institution of state becoming less tolerant. Harehills, Manchester Airport and probably in every neighbourhood in the country, the institutions of state are being slowly transformed into Institutions of Authority and Power., police services become police forces and a NewWorldOrder slowly becomes apparent.

It started (or went up a gear) with the covid Deception and will not be countered or contained by Sir Keir show-me-your-papers Starmer – in fact, it’s why he is here.

    1. ID cards to follow immediately after any large-scale civil unrest. It’s what they’re after.

Then cash will be removed within thirty years, so they can control who has what.

Fifty – hundred years from now people will be microchipped like their animals are now. Maybe sooner.

Starting to think that those 200AD comics I read as a boy were prophecies.

      1. They want cash replaced by programmable digital currencies a lot sooner than that, Toff. 2030 is what I heard, as per UN Agenda 2030.

And yes, of course they were prophecies!

One consolation for blind UK policy lockstep with the US is that Starmer will have to follow that tradition when Trump is President and NATO is history, which will wipe that shit-eating grin off his face pronto!

      2. Remember Nemesis the Warlock Toffee? Modern politicians remind me of Torquemada. Be pure! Be vigilant! Behave!

Cash going asap. Just need a world changing event. WW3 would fit the bill nicely. Oh how convenient when I see this week’s news.

Scotland was talking about chipping newborns 8 years ago.

        Good times.

  7. OFF-TOPIC:
Today the government announces its plan and new legislation for Great British Energy.

Right now it includes no plans for you to be able to BUY YOUR ENERGY from a publicly owned provider.

That’s why we’re calling on the government to buy back British Gas*.

    back to the topic..?
Keir Starmer is a Servant of the Security state, which will, under his pretend-Labour Government, become more powerful and more oppressive.

  8. Why I call BS on the police version: who would engage in violent behaviour in front of their mum? “Altercation?” My bet is more likely an “argument”…

    1. Yep. Probly not even an argument

Plod merely having had their “authoritah” questioned is most likely. They don’t like that. And especially if there’s more than one of them, and they’re carrying sub-machine guns.

You only need to look on YouTube to see how the story goes…

  9. When a Government has no regard for International Law…..

    https://tribunemag.co.uk/2024/07/labour-versus-international-law

…..that same Government will certainly have little time for proper due process in its own backyard.

Particularly a Government controlled by people with such an appalling record on applying the rule of law and due process principles or not to suit their convenience.

“Labour’s first three weeks in power do not augur well. Lammy flew to Israel within days of assuming office. The day before he boarded his plane to shake hands with Netanyahu, Israel committed the latest in a series of recent massacres, bombing what it had designated as a safe humanitarian zone and slaughtering over 90 Palestinians, mostly women and children.

The atrocity brought new images of horror to the grotesque gallery Isael has created as its genocide has been livestreamed to the world: the severed limbs of children hanging from trees or being collected from the ground in small plastic bags. Days have passed and neither Lammy nor Starmer has made reference to this barbaric act, let alone condemned it. Nor has either condemned the Knesset vote against any establishment of a Palestinian state passed by the 120-seat parliament with only nine votes against. How is Labour going to work towards a meaningful ceasefire and the end of an illegal occupation if it is not prepared to place pressure on an Israeli government that is making clear it has no red lines in Gaza, and will never allow the Palestinian people to enjoy self-determination?

……The past few months have shown just what the consequences of not holding Israel to account are. At least 40,000 killed in Gaza*, the population there on the brink of famine, and as Unicef reported this week, a Palestinian child in the West Bank killed every two days since October. Continuing on such a path, as seems to be the intention of the Labour government, means abandoning any framework of international law. The clarity of the ICJ’s recent rulings makes the test for Lammy’s ‘progressive realism’ very simple — either you stand against occupation, annexation, genocide and apartheid, or you are complicit with it.”

    ——————————————————————–

    *Murdered actually.

These parasites running a so-called “Labour Government” will offer little progress in response to this example at Manchester Airport when they clearly have no problem with the deliberate and systematic murder and slaughter of women and children in Gaza.

The only thing missing from the debate on this site so far is the resident Lord Haw Haw tribute act, (allegedly) in the Caribbean, posting some inane opinion poll purporting to back up the police behaviour in such incidents.

  10. After watching the video, I’ve come to the conclusion the officer is unfit to hold a firearm.

I’m sure they’ll have dozens of reasons for the stamped chap, but what about the fella in the chair? Has his hands in the air, and is sat down. Not a threat. This second attack is enough evidence to say Mr.Plod shouldn’t be trusted with a stick, let alone a gun

  11. , but what about the fella in the chair? Has his hands in the air, and is sat down. Not a threat. This second attack is enough evidence to say Mr.Plod shouldn’t be trusted with a stick, let alone a gun

Indeed. Noticed that meself but forgot to mention it in my first post. Not fit to carry a shovel to shovel the shit they’re unfit to.

As for the cash being done away with business, last week when there was that Microsoft outage I went along to the community shop. Opened an hour late when one of the girls came out to say it was because they weren’t having card payments.

Of course, she mentioned that I’d be alright on front of everyone, because I’m always going on about the people (generally) women in front of me in the queue, always getting their stuff through, THEN using their cards and phones and having to scan them several times before the machine finally recognizes them, wasting everybody else’s time.

Of course, it’s dead clever and de rigeur to pay by phone, innit?

No. It isn’t. They are sleepwalking o to a big brother state by allowing themselves to be led down the path by these ew fashions and technologies.

Have you ever mentioed this to people? They look at you like you’re from fooking mars ffs.

But this is whats going on with society.

    Consume – don’t question.

Gotta get the new phone (on extortionate lease), – it’s great for Facebook….Until next week, when the next one out has an extra pixel on the selfie camera.

“Did you see what happened on strictly baking in the jungle last night? Ooohhhh, isnt it awful?”

Anything going on on the real world is anathema to these vacuous zombies. They’ve been dumbed-down to mere fuckwittery. What masquerades as convenience is nothing more than future enslavement, and has been ravenously gobbled up by the lumpen

CCTV I can (uncomfortably) live with.

Cash I refuse to live without. It really is THE last bastion of what constitutes “freedom” today. Once they control your finances, you really are royally bollocksed. And forever will be.

ALWAYS pay by cash, wherever and whenever possible, folks.

Or don’t say you werent warned.

    1. It has taken less than a generation for the satirical cinema film “Idiocracy” to become a contemporary documentary.

To the point where uninformed opinion created by exposure to lethal levels of polluting propaganda is, in all seriousness, not only offered by some as legitimising unsound and unworkable policies but also deemed “surprising”.

And, by the way, “don’t look up!”.

  12. Back to topic..

Burnham can fook right off as well.

    “it’s complex”

No it fooking well isn’t you shithouse. It’s as clear as day.

The lad was on the ground, posing NO threat WHATSOEVER.

Same goes for the lad on the bench; dragged off and beaten…. Again, posing NO threat.

And the lad filming, who gets maced. NO threat.

Seems patently clear to me that the more plod arrive on the scene, the ‘braver’ they become.

I’ve never trusted that burnham. Took the whole of the barn (anfield) singing in unison to shame him into pressing for the Hillsborough inquiry.

    1. No it doesn’t.

It shows ‘Mr kicky’ plod throwing the first digs at the one in the black t-shirt, after he comes over to remonstrate with the heavy-handed reaction of ‘Mr kicky’ on grabbing the head of the one he later kicks on the head.

(Left of the vending machine @00:08)

There is no ‘introduction’ of/by the old bill to the one he kicks in the head, just the stealing up behind him and the immediate attempt to force him to the ground, from behind.

Plod have gone gung-ho into that situation, most likely hoping for confrontation. They’ve made the situation far FAR worse than it should’ve been handled.

Mr kicky has completely lost it, proved by his later assault on the one in the black t-shirt whole he is sat down on the bench. Nothing more than being bent on revenge for having his arse handed to him.

    2. No, Billy, as Toffee points out what it shows in essence is people acting in self-defence against an attack from behind on one of their group by an undisciplined armed group in uniform who have either not had sufficient training or have decided to ignore that training.

If you cannot see that from the available evidence, it is because you do not want to see that and are, once again, as you always do, simply making excuses for the inexcusable.

  13. Plod have gone gung-ho into that situation, most likely hoping for confrontation.

    Allow me to clarify.

Mr kicky most certainly has. The other male plod has been up for it once it’s gone off.

They should’ve been face-to-face when they apprehended the one who gets kicked in the head. Allowed him to have turned around, and explained that he was under arrest. ..Instead they’ve gone ging ho into a situation they were fully aware was volatile, given that the ‘suspect’ was allegedly earlier engaged in a confrontation – the very reason they were gonna detain him.

And it STILL doesn’t excuse kicking him in the head.

    1. It’s true what they say, stick a couple of pips on a monkey’s shoulder, and it thinks it’s Napoleon.

This small squad lost control of a situation as a result of the wrong approach and bad discipline on the part of those who should know better. As a result, one of their colleagues had their nose broken and at least one or possibly two members of the public sustained significant injuries. These outcomes could have been avoided. However, like every other sector of the UK, the security services appear to have expunged the concept of experience, as well as self-discipline out of the system.

    1. Toffee – I agree that it does not excuse kicking and stamping on the head of someone who is not a threat, it is difficult to envisage anything that would.
