“No toddler gets shot twice by mistake by the world’s best sniper”, says Dr Mark Perlmutter, who adds he can’t measure his own trauma, let alone the impact on child survivors

A Jewish-American surgeon specialising in disaster work, who has returned from trying to help the victims of Israeli violence and genocide in Gaza, says that all the disasters he has witnessed in his entire thirty-year career combined – including ‘ground zero’ of the ‘twin towers’ attack – do not come close to what he has seen inflicted by the Israeli military.
And Dr Mark Perlmutter and his colleagues say that they have seen so many child victims that they struggled to believe their eyes – including children clearly deliberately shot twice, in head and heart, by expert snipers:
A fuller version of the programme in which the interview was broadcast reveals even more of the horror being perpetrated on a million innocent children – and when Perlmutter is asked what the impact of the trauma will be on them, he says he can’t even calculate the impact on himself:
The number of people murdered in Gaza by Israel – which has used the deaths of Israeli citizens killed by their own side as an excuse for war crimes – is as high as 190,000, with many more maimed and more added daily as new atrocities are committed. Israel is a terror state and its leaders belong on trial in the Hague alongside all who collude with, or provide political cover for, them.
