Ilford North MP Wes Streeting has denied a recording of him telling a constituent he ‘f***ing’ doesn’t care about Gaza is genuine:
The ‘Full Fact’ organisation has said it has found ‘no evidence that the clip is genuine’. But it also says it can’t say that it’s fake:
We’ve not been able to determine whether the clip was generated with artificial intelligence, edited in some other way or is of an impersonator, but we’ve not seen any evidence to suggest it is real.
Today, Streeting faces an election challenge from Independent Leanne Mohamad. Whatever you think of the alleged audio clip, Labour under Starmer is a racist project and has shown contempt for the lives of Palestinian civilians. Skwawkbox strongly urges Ilford North voters to support Ms Mohamad.
