Admission triggers furious backlash as pro-Israel groups try to force retraction

The Times has, surprisingly, become the first ‘mainstream’ news outlet to admit that Israel’s claims about mass rape by Hamas operatives on 7 October are made up – though of course it doesn’t state the fact quite that baldly.
Skwawkbox and other independent outlets have covered the real narrative, including the fact that – despite determined and deliberate misrepresentation of their findings as supporting Israel’s claims instead of refuting them – two United Nations investigators, including the organisation’s special representative on sexual violence, found there was no evidence to support any of the claims, whether forensic, video or photographic, and that the stories of a handful of supposed ‘eyewitnesses’, who had first told different stories, did not add up and were not credible.

The article is excessively generous about the likely motives of those who created and propagated the false stories of rapes and other atrocities supposedly committed on 7 October, portraying these as coming from naivety or ignorance rather than a propagandistic push to justify Israel’s innumerable war crimes committed after 7 October. But the weight of its ultimate conclusions is quite clear, despite all the padding: there is no evidence to support any of Israel’s claims about widespread or systematic sexual violence:
The report also confirmed Israeli authorities were unable to provide much of the evidence that political leaders had insisted existed. In all the Hamas video footage Patten’s team had watched and all the photographs they had seen, there were no depictions of rape. We hired a leading Israeli dark-web researcher to look for evidence of those images, including footage deleted from public sources. None could be found…
…[the UN report] specifically says Israel has been unable to produce evidence it has claimed to possess of Hamas’s written orders to rape. Patten also asked that Israel investigate “credible allegations” of rape and sexual violence against Palestinian women and girls gathered by the UN’s legal mandate mission in the Palestinian territories. Israel swiftly rejected Patten’s request…
…[UN special rapporteur] Patten’s other recommendations included calling for a ceasefire to facilitate the rescue of hostages who she feared were suffering ongoing sexual abuse, and she asked the Israeli government to sign a framework of co-operation with her office so a full legal investigation could take place with international assistance.
Israel refused point blank.
The Times (emphases added)
In fact, to date, there has been no credible evidence for any rape. The claims of ‘eyewitnesses’ who did not mention seeing rapes and sexual violence during interviews in the early days after 7 October but then suddenly claimed much later to have seen it, are simply not credible.
What is credible is the finding that Palestinian women and girls – and indeed men – are routinely suffering rape, sexual assault, sexualised torture and even execution while in Israeli captivity and in Gaza itself, as well as widespread torture and other treatment so brutal that amputations as a result have become common.
Despite the overwhelming evidence for the abuse of Palestinians in captivity and the complete lack of evidence for any of Israel’s ‘Hamas rape’ claims, the Times has reportedly come under severe pressure to retract its article despite none of its claims being inaccurate. By contrast, outlets such as the New York Times and others that propagated the completely false claims have still not retracted their false reporting.

So many things that we are told are false and would not stand up to serious scrutiny.
Here is another notorious example. Interviewed an hour after the shooting of John Lennon, Detective Ron Hoffman stated that the incident took place inside the Dakota Building.
And yet, the official narrative quickly became that the shooting took place outside the building.
This is a crucial difference as it would have been very difficult/impossible for Mark Chapman to have done the shooting if it was inside the building.

But Lennon, it later emerged, was shot from the front as Dr David Halleran later recalled:
“And he had four entrance wounds over his left chest, and three exit wounds over his left back. Shot at close range.”
This proves the presence of a second gunman.
A second gunman in the Lennon shooting is a new one on me. You’ll probably be interested in this:

You are right. I am interested in this.
On the Beatles stuff, I do not consider myself qualified to comment.
On 9/11, however, it is important to remember that all the warnings were ignored by the Bush administration. On the awful day itself, I would say that too many things went wrong for the official narrative to be accepted.
Those planes should have been intercepted by the airforce. WTC7 collapsed despite the fact that nothing hit it. It has also been claimed that the rubble was quickly taken away before crime scene investigators could examine it. This is likely to be true as I do not recall any reports of such visits. I think they would have been reported if they had happened.
How could a plane crash into the Pentagon?
I believe that it is protected by 5 missile batteries. This seems very plausible. To avoid being shot down, we would expect a plane to transmit a coded signal. A hijacked plane could not do that.
And the list goes on.
Lt Col. Robert Bowman:
“A lot of people say that our government was warned, they knew this was going to happen and they did nothing. That is not true, if they had done nothing and just let normal procedures take their place those twin towers would still be standing and thousands of dead Americans would still be alive…”

On this occasion it seems the crime which The Times has committed in the eyes of those seeking a retraction is the ultimate sin of deviating from the post-modernist template in which objective real world evidence is expunged from all discourse in favour of the subjective narrative of oligarch power.
Another example of attempting to impose a minority alternative reality on the majority.
The Times was also the first MSM back in autumn last year to admit that ‘excess death’ in the UK extended to. c. 6,000 in good physical condition people per month between 35 – 65 (mostly male). Of course it didn’t correlate the deaths of these mostly-middle-aged, in good physical condition people with the use of very dangerous untested mRNA ‘vaccines’.
Whatever its motive, The Times deserves credit – instead of the anger and consternation of the predictable usual suspects.
At the present rate it surely cannot be too long before even the Times follows that up with the headline admitting the total absence of any evidence of intelligence anywhere in the political class across Europe given that political class have just committed European tax payers as guarantors to international bond holders for a $50 billion loan plus interest from assets which do not belong to them and which is guaranteed to be defaulted on and which has every chance of being repeated up to the principle of $300 billion:
https://www.rokfin.com/post/180296/US-sanctions-China-via-Russia-EU-agrees-to-cover-50B-loan
European taxpayers are being shafted with a long term commitment to a black hole which will decimate the economies across Europe.
Good luck to any aspiring PM balancing the books with that albatross hanging around our necks.
Even the American’s were not that stupid.
Spot on as ever Dave Hansell. Thanks for saying this.
The morons in charge on the EU/UK and US are about to destroy whatever confidence and credibility was left in the Western Banking System. If you had a few billions to place somewhere, I ask you, where would you put it now? It’s out and out theft.
And right on cue……
https://www.reuters.com/markets/europe/ukraine-bondholder-group-unable-reach-deal-formal-20-bln-debt-talks-2024-06-17/
…..Ukraine looks set to default to bondholders on a more ‘modest’ sum of £20 billion:
“LONDON, June 17 (Reuters) – Ukraine has not been able to reach an agreement with a group of bondholders over restructuring some $20 billion of international debt during formal talks, it said on Monday, raising the spectre that the war-torn country might slip into default.”
Even before this latest madcap scheme European taxpayers are now likely to already be in hock for $20 billion. A sum which could be better spent on our own needs rather than spaffing it up against the wall for a bunch of corrupt knuckle dragging nazis.
But, you know, “Putin”.
New Popular Front
Frances answer to far right and Macro’ns Oligarch party
4 mainstream parties form an alliance in a matter of days and agree to field the best candidate in each seat
It’s not @#$%^&* Rocket Science but it is a minor miracle as Traditionally the left would rather disappear up their own backsides
Nowt new there then

…..here’s Nadia Whittome – standing for what is, apparently, the Labour Party – doing her bit to lose a sizable chunk of the majority section of voters.
“self-id – no ifs, no buts”
The question arises as to whether or not the economic implications of people self identifying as older than they are – I myself am looking forward to self-identifying as one hundred and twenty years of age – in order to become instant millionaires from decades of back pension have been considered or, for that matter, costed into the Manifesto.
After all, what’s sauce for the goose!
Why limit the self-id principle to only one feature? That would surely amount to age and a whole range of other discriminations? Besides which, it is reasonable to surmise that there will be individuals whose chronological age is quite high who, for whatever reason, wish to self-id as being of school age.
“Ban on conversion therapy – no exemptions”
Except, of course, the conversion therapy of turning same sex attracted people – mainly young people – into cash cows for big pharma and the big tech Transhuman cult.
“Resist calls to exclude trans women from women’s spaces”
Good luck harvesting votes with a policy forcing 51% of the population to have no safe spaces or privacy.
“Fully demedicalise gender recognition”
A discriminatory policy which fails miserably to take account of the rights of those who wish to self-identify as a different species (operating under the ‘Furries’ label). Or does that come next?
If Ayan Rand were still around she would cheering from the rafters at such cult like addiction to the extreme right wing principle of the Sovereign Individual this represents.
And, ‘no such thing as society, only the individual and the family’ Thatcher would be joining in the celebrations.
‘No pasaran’ has tuned into ‘No reciprocation’ as these clueless numpties like Nadia Whittome do all the heavy lifting for the extreme right in undermining class politics in favour of social atomisation and the cult of the individual.
