Shameful spectacle should fool no one – Starmer’s party continues to enable genocide
Deputy Labour leader Keir Starmer has gone to Muslims in her constituency to try to persuade them that – despite the mass of evidence to the contrary – Labour is doing everything possible for the people of Gaza against the genocide being perpetrated on them by Israel.
Starmer infamously said – and then eventually pretended he hadn’t – that Israel has the ‘right’ to cut off water, food and fuel from the Palestinian people corralled in Gaza and has described himself as a committed ‘Zionist without qualification’. Rayner’s unconvincing spiel doesn’t contain enough whitewash:
Coming as Israel continues to slaughter Palestinian civilians, including children in a refugee camp decapitated or burned to death in a recent attack, there is surely not enough whitewash in the world to fool anyone that Starmer’s guilt does not make him unfit for office, even before his string of other betrayals and broken promises is counted against him.
