No, extremist minister Ben-Gvir didn’t pull gun on settlers – he wanted to shoot Palestinians

A video has been circulating on social media claiming to show Itamar Ben-Gvir, Israel’s far-right security minister and one of the architects of its genocide and ethnic cleansing in Gaza, making a panicked retreat and pulling a gun on his own people, after reportedly being attacked by fellow settlers this week.

The claim is untrue.

The video dates from October 2022 and shows Ben-Gvir and his guards making a panicked retreat from Palestinian protesters in Sheikh Jarrah – and attempting to pull a gun.
