Video: ‘Goodbye Palestine’ – deranged US congressman wants Palestine erased

Republican Chuck Fleischmann’s ‘Israel forever’ rant

Republican US congressman Chuck Fleischmann has been caught on video in a deranged rant in which he tells a Palestinian-American ‘Goodbye to Palestine’, appearing – and not denying when asked – to wish for Palestine and its people to be ‘wiped off the face of the earth’.

Fleischmann was challenged by two anti-genocide activists about his support for Israel and began his rant that he will always support Israel before gesticulating in the face of one of the pair and telling them ‘I will never support the Palestinians. Never!’:

Fleischmann’s unhinged rant is a frightening window into the mentality of the US right – and the UK Israel lobby’s murderousness, which differs primarily in being less obviously expressed.

  1. These monsters have been living in our midst and in total innocence millions of us did not know the base inhumanity of men like this.

  2. ‘murrica…

    The root cause of 99% of the world’s problems today. 😕

    1. Things never change as Uri Avnary described years ago…..
      There they were, the members of the highest legislative bodies of the world’s only superpower, flying up and down like so many yo-yos, applauding wildly, every few minutes or seconds, the most outrageous lies and distortions of Binyamin Netanyahu.

      It was worse than the Syrian parliament during a speech by Bashar Assad, where anyone not applauding could find himself in prison. Or Stalin’s Supreme Soviet, when showing less than sufficient respect could have meant death.

      What the American Senators and Congressmen feared was a fate worse than death. Anyone remaining seated or not applauding wildly enough could have been caught on camera – and that amounts to political suicide. It was enough for one single congressman to rise and applaud, and all the others had to follow suit. Who would dare not to?

      The sight of these hundreds of parliamentarians jumping up and clapping their hands, again and again and again and again, with the Leader graciously acknowledging with a movement of his hand, was reminiscent of other regimes. Only this time it was not the local dictator who compelled this adulation, but a foreign one. http://zope.gush-shalom.org/home/en/channels/avnery/1306359471

      1. harry – I do wonder how George Galloway and his supporters manage to reconcile GG’s support for Putin and Assad with their so called socialist ideals.

      2. Don’t forget the Canadian parliament. I wonder which statesman our seals would cream themselves over. I would have said Zelensky but things have changed and we will have to wait for the result of the power struggle taking place under the surface.

      3. The same as you reconcile with keef and his *ahem* ‘social-democratic ideals.

        Thank feck you’re (supposedly) in the Caribbean. If the amount of shite you produce ever got into British waterways we’d be even more fooked than we already are.

        …And keef STILL wouldn’t renationalise water. Cos he didn’t ever say he would, did he?

      4. Toffee – “…And keef STILL wouldn’t renationalise water”

        Don’t be silly. You really should at least try to think things through before opening your mouth.🥱

      5. Herr Flick
        What’s worse ‘Jews committing Genocide ‘ or your favourite Human Rights Lawyer supporting ‘Jews committing Genocide ‘

      6. Before you tell others not to be silly, remind us all what keef pledge #6 stated.

        Oh!! Silly me…“Nowhere does it say renationalisation”

        You gormless gobshite.

      7. Toffee – Your manifest inability to think things through is not my problem.

      8. Whereas your manifest inability to get a single fucking thing correct, combined with your blind adoration of your messiah AND your wilful skewing of facts, singles you out as a complete political (and general) retard.

        Now I’m away back to me pit.

    1. Were you asleep when the Labour Party’s motion calling for an immediate humanitarian ceasefire was passed by parliament over 2 weeks ago?

      The text of the final motion as amended by Labour and approved by the Commons is below:

      That this House believes that an Israeli ground offensive in Rafah risks catastrophic humanitarian consequences and therefore must not take place; notes the intolerable loss of Palestinian life, the majority being women and children;

      condemns the terrorism of Hamas who continue to hold hostages;

      supports Australia, Canada and New Zealand’s calls for Hamas to release and return all hostages and for an immediate humanitarian ceasefire, which means an immediate stop to the fighting and a ceasefire that lasts and is observed by all sides, noting that Israel cannot be expected to cease fighting if Hamas continues with violence and that Israelis have the right to the assurance that the horror of 7th October cannot happen again;

      therefore supports diplomatic mediation efforts to achieve a lasting ceasefire; demands that rapid and unimpeded humanitarian relief is provided in Gaza;

      demands an end to settlement expansion and violence; urges Israel to comply with the International Court of Justice’s provisional measures;

      calls for the UN Security Council to be meet urgently;

      and urges all international partners to work together to establish a diplomatic process to deliver the peace of a two-state solution, with a safe and secure Israel alongside a viable Palestinian state, including working with international partners to recognise a Palestinian state as a contribution to rather than outcome of that process, because statehood is the inalienable right of the Palestinian people and not in the gift of any neighbour.

      1. Herr Flick
        Further evidence of your complicity in Genocide, you support something that is neither Humanitarian nor a Ceasefire
        Then there’s the small matter of supplying arms to Israel after the ICJ order was made

      2. To once again draw your attention, in summary form, to the reasons why this motion is not worth the paper it is written on – as previously outlined here:

        https://skwawkbox.org/2024/02/19/video-palestinian-ambassador-breaks-down-as-he-tells-icj-of-plight-of-children-under-occupation/#comment-252838

        – It is too little too late. Tens of thousands of Palestinian civilian lives have been violently destroyed between early October and the time it took your equally pathetic hero to be dragged kicking and screaming to come to a position he should have adopted months ago.

        – it is extremely one sided. Failing to be even handed in not recognising the rights of Palestinians to self-defece; or the existence of Palestinian hostages.

        – Created in consultation with only one side in the conflict.

        – Is not serious as it is made in the context of following the American lead in only calling for a temporary ceasefire.

        It seems reasonable to conclude that your support for and promotion of this bag of shit, Billy, is sufficient evidence that you yourself do not actually:

        – recognise the right of the Palestinians to self defence;
        – accept that Palestinians are also being held hostage – and in larger numbers;
        – are in support of only a temporary ceasefire where the Zionist State – as it has already stated – will be allowed free reign to continue its genocide.

        Or, to put it more explicitly and bluntly, you are comfortable with publicly portraying yourself as a hypocrite and practitioner of double standards.

        Glad we’ve got sorted.

      3. Dave – I’m quite happy for other readers to read and absorb what the Labour Party’s Motion actually says and make their own minds up about the veracity of your ‘assertions’.

  3. Any right the pro-Israel lobby ever had to the moral highground has now gone.
