‘Jews say no’ – protesters demand an end to US funding and support for Israeli war crimes
Hundreds of Jewish human rights protesters have taken over the California State Capitol building in a demonstration against US support for Israel’s genocide in Gaza.
Wearing black t-shirts with white lettering stating ‘Jews say no’ and ‘No $$$ for genocide’, the protesters are staging a sit-in in the building:
Anti-zionist and pro-Palestinian rights US Jews have staged a number of similar protests around the US – often receiving a grossly violent police response and a string of flagrantly false smears by pro-Israel politicians and groups.
The resolute action by Jews – in the US and in the UK – who value Palestinian lives and rights as highly as Israeli undermines the common UK Establishment propaganda that all Jews support Israel and the ensuing claim that protests against Israeli occupation and genocide are therefore somehow antisemitic.
The protest comes as Israel is accused of killing and wounding hundreds at a peaceful memorial in Iran, in an attempt to draw the US into direct military action against Middle East nations that might take action against Israel’s genocide in Gaza.
