UK media appears to be ignoring diplomatic action

Bahrain has expelled the Israeli ambassador, Eitan Na’eh, and recalled its own diplomatic envoy from Tel Aviv over Israel’s ongoing genocide against Palestinian civilians in Gaza. More than 8,000 had been killed by Israeli bombs and missiles up to a week ago, with UNICEF reporting that more than four hundred children a day are being slaughtered, so the real total is likely to be well over ten thousand, with thousands more suffering life-changing physical and psychological trauma.
Israel also bombed the Jabalia refugee camp, Gaza’s largest, twice in the last two days and has killed hundreds sheltering in hospitals, while the UN relief agency reported 59 of its teachers, doctors and engineers dead and many more missing. Earlier this week, the UN Human Rights Commissioner’s New York representative quit in disgust, citing Israel’s war crimes, genocide and impunity.
A statement by the Bahraini government said that the move was to support,
the Palestinian cause and the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people… We confirm the departure of the Israeli ambassador to the country, the return of the Bahrain ambassador from Israel, and the cessation of economic relations.
The UK media appear so far to be ignoring the news, which has been widely reported by the international press and news broadcasters.
