Largest branch votes 81-13 in favour of keeping popular MP, doubtless to the chagrin of a handful of ‘journalists’, politicians and ranters obsessed for reasons unknown with the removal of the Muslim woman MP
Certain right-wing, anti-left hacks and their political allies will be gnashing their teeth after Zarah Sultana swept the board in the trigger ballots of member branches in her Coventry South constituency – including a massive 81-13 win in the latest and largest branch.
Sultana has been the target of a small number of said right-wingers, who have been accused of obsession with the left-wing, Muslim, woman MP, for reasons unknown.
Congratulations to Ms Sultana. If only the right’s attempts to stitch up and drive out the handful of decent MPs still remaining in the party were always so unsuccessful.
