A happy 2019 – for the many

Best wishes to all SKWAWKBOX readers for 2019. May it bring you and yours health, joy and freedom at last from the Tories.

Thank you all for your support in 2018. Here’s to a new year that sees this country’s most urgent wish and need come true – and to the “people’s vote” crew: no, it’s not stopping Brexit!

All the best everyone.

  1. Happy New Year to you. Thanks so much for all your hard work. Let’s hope 2019 is a good one x

  2. Happy New Year to you too. Thanks for the fantastic work you are doing! Here’s to a Tory Free 2019!! Pura Vida y Feliz año nuevo!!

  3. Happy New Year Steve! Just before I pop off to bed here’s an extract from the wikipedia entry for a certain Alistair Campbell: “…aftermath of Princess Diana’s death….the head of The Royal Household, the Earl of Airlie, asked Tony Blair to second Campbell to help prepare the funeral, saying they knew it would have to be different. Campbell is widely reported to have coined the phrase “the people’s princess”…”

  4. It IS going to stop brexshit. Are you keen on the idea of screwing your national economy? Making your country the laughing stock of the world? All so that you can defend Tory lies? Good luck with that. We won’t cease in our fight to remain a full member of the EU – our broader country, our continental home.

    1. You may find the article I have linked to (above) of interest, read the full article.

  5. Happy New Year! Thanks for keeping us well-informed. Let’s hope the promised tumult for 2019 turns out well for the many.

  6. The Left/Right divide in politics has all but disappeared post-Cold War. We need to rebuild it in 2019 by fashioning a comprehensive programme of state intervention and public ownership aimed at bringing about social equality – a strong, radical programme that inspires the country!

  7. Happy New Year, Steve, and all your subscribers.

Let’s make 2019 a good year for the many, with a strong, intelligent, compassionate leader in a Labour government.

  8. Thank you for keeping up the pressure on the Tories and for keeping us informed. You have been a strong advocate for Corbyns labour and a welcome alternative voice amidst all the shit Corbyn and his members have received.
