Elected as delegate but barred from applying by your CLP? Get in touch

As the SKWAWKBOX revealed on Tuesday, Labour’s National Executive Committee (NEC) decided – after a tireless behind-the-scenes campaign by activists – to reinstate delegates to Labour’s annual Conference whose application had been rejected because of an unlawfully-applied membership cut-off date.

But there appears to be a number of elected delegates who were prevented by their own CLP from even applying for the conference because of the unlawful cut-off date. Those delegates are not known to Labour’s Conference Services team and have not been reinstated.

The SKWAWKBOX and the activists who achieved Tuesday’s reinstatement are going to make a last-gasp effort to save the situation for those delegates. If you’re one such affected, email skwawkboxclp@outlook.com urgently so we know the scale of the situation. There’s only one more day to do anything, so get in touch quickly.

Nothing can be promised but we’ll do what we can.
