As the SKWAWKBOX revealed exclusively this afternoon, Labour’s NEC has dramatically reinstated, at the eleventh hour, the 65 or so delegates to its annual Conference starting this weekend. The delegates had fallen foul of a misinterpretation of Labour’s rules leading to the application of a wrong membership cut-off date and were unbarred after a concerted campaign by activists and some NEC members.
Time is, of course, very short for those delegates to rearrange schedules, transport and accommodation – but help is available.
A WhatsApp group has been set up specifically to assist those delegates and some have already obtained cheap accommodation etc, so will be in a position to provide advice.
If you are a reinstated delegate and would like to join the group, email your name, CLP and mobile number to firstname.lastname@example.org and you will be invited.
The SKWAWKBOX needs your support. This blog is provided free of charge but depends on the generosity of its readers to be viable.
