Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn gave Theresa May some hard truth on Monday in the Commons when he told her all the help she was getting from him is a copy of Labour’s manifesto, which she and her team have been flirting with anyway but lack the courage and competence to adopt – as today’s pathetic 1% pay insult to teachers showed.
It’s not Labour’s job to bail out a lame duck PM or shore up an incompetent and chaotic Tory government.
Front-bencher Chris Williamson is clearly thoroughly on board with that message and added his own flourish:
