Hunt: NHS is an irrelevant mistake

Jeremy Hunt, the man David Cameron has today appointed to replace Andrew Lansley as Health Secretary, co-wrote a book that says the NHS is a ’60yr old mistake’ that is now ‘irrelevant’ and should be dismantled:

Says it all, really, about the real heart, attitude and intent of this malevolent, malignant, parasitic government.

After his appointment today, Hunt told BBC News that the Health job was ‘a huge task’.  Unfortunately, given his avowed opinion he clearly meant that dismantling the NHS is a huge task. No doubt he’ll setI about it with gusto, with his trademark bland smile and his attested willingness to take a lead from private money.

The sooner their house of cards comes crashing down, the better.
