Trump humiliated as Republicans lose both US houses

Donald Trump has become the lamest of ducks after the Republican party became a minority in both Congress and the Senate. Notable wins included Abdul el-Sayed becoming the US’s first Muslim senator and James Talarico flipping Texas by ten points. The Senate is now 54-44 – a result that means shameless Israel fanatic Dem John Fetterman becomes an irrelevance. The Democrats have at least 228 seats in Congress, against a minimal majority position of 218, with the Republicans losing 25 seats overnight.

As soon as the overall result became clear, Trump scrambled unsuccessfully to distance himself from the catastrophe, posting on his social media that:

Screenshot of a post from Donald J. Trump, stating he was not on the ballot and implying he would have won if he had been, along with a thank you for attention to the matter.

But Trump had campaigned in the mid-terms by telling MAGA to act like he was on the ballot. Even Fox News didn’t buy the excuse, pointing this out to the deflated orange one.

Tweet by Congressman Robert Garcia stating 'LAWYER UP.' with timestamp and engagement metrics.
Incoming Democrat chair of the House Oversight Committee, ‘bulldog Robert Garcia, gave a warning to Trump’s criminal gang.

Of course, a Democrat majority doesn’t mean anything to US illegal wars or blind support for Israel’s genocide and land theft. But Trump’s cabinet and advisers, many of whom face potential impeachment and even prison, will be desperately trying to come up with some kind of fascist coup to avoid accountability.
