UK media are still trying to push the idea of a ‘significant’ split and conflict in the Green party over its ‘Zionism is racism’ motion. Bollocks. Zionism is racism – and there is no significant split.
Mass support
The ‘msm’, politicians of other parties and a handful of malcontent Greens are attacking the Green party’s voting processes and claiming that the conference vote does not represent the will of members as a whole. They’re kind of right, but not in the way they want you to think.
The conference vote passed by 1022 votes to 813, or 56% for to 44% against. But Green party members support the motion by more than 80%. The conference vote understated that, but still passed it.
Unsurprisingly, the friends-of-genocide are trying to hide that reality. But most Green- or Green-coalition-run councils also quite rightly seem to be ignoring Andy Burnham’s blackmailing threat to bring councils to a halt if local councillors don’t denounce the democratic motion. so the ‘FOG’ are trying to talk up a split in the Green party, particularly among councillors.
But that reality falls apart like a cheap suit as well, under even a modicum of scrutiny. Out of around 1,300 Green councillors, only SIX have quit the party – fewer than 0.5%. Some of those joined the Greens from the Tories, so buh-bye and well rid:
But the Green party management look like capitulating to the (racist) Zionist narrative. More on that shortly.
