More than a dozen bombs hit Iranian capital

Israeli forces have bombed Iranian capital Tehran, with at least a dozen explosions there and around a hundred more around the country in yet another case of aggression by the occupation regime. The Iranian forces’ senior commander and a number of other senior military officers were assassinated in the strike.
The US knew the attack was imminent: Donald Trump said he had pulled US troops out of the area. Iran retaliated immediately with around a hundred drones. Jordan helped Israel by shooting down some of them, but it is unlikely that this will be the limit of Iran’s retaliation.

Omfg. Iran have shown great restraint in past years but that was assassinations not big bombs affecting their people. Has starmer supplied these weapons too to kick off WW3.
Here’s Larry Johnson and Ray McGovern on the latest regime change operation and its use of the same 2003 Iraq playbook:
The vicious flailing of the Frankenstein monster created by a dying empire
Israel is growing desperate and believes the only way of getting away with the genocide of Palestinians is by expanding the war to an all out conflict with Iran, that will inevitably draft the whole region and beyond to participate in WW3.
Israel expects that the world will stop focusing on its genocide against the Palestinians and instead shift focus to its war with Iran.
Israel expect too, that opposition to the present regime within Iran will eventually guaranty Israel wining the conflict and the US to support Israel.
Time will tell, but the best prediction of future behaviour is past behaviour. Iraq made the mistake of attacking Iran believing that since the new Islamic regime wasn’t popular, a war with Iran will be easy to win. Iraq was supported by the US but, ultimately Iran prevailed and emerged stronger.
The US was defeated in Afghanistan, and their is not reason to believe that Israel even with the help of the US will prevail.
Iran is a member of the BRICKS and their is not reason to believe that China or Russia will abandon Iran. Both China and Russia are much closer to Iran that the US. Hence, strategically speaking it makes sense for both to support Iran, specially if the US makes the mistake of becoming directly embroiled in the conflict.
The notion that the US is not actively involved in supporting this attack does not bear serious scrutiny.
Iran is being attacked by missiles launched from US controlled Iraqi airspace & aerial refuelling by US planes out of Qatar.
Moreover, the attacks are being carried out by US aircraft, US missiles, US bombs, US electronic warfare, US guidance using US satellites, US intelligence, and US money.
The US [and given the past record of the UK in working hand in glove with the US, it is more than likely the UK will at some point be involved if it is not already] is 100% involved in this war, as predicted by former US general Wesley Clark in his 2007 interview.
It would seem reasonable to anticipate a rush to the petrol pumps and supermarkets across the Collective Worst this morning in anticipation of the inevitable prices going through the roof.

Does Sir Keir Starmer believe that Iran has the right to defend itself? Just asking.
Beat me go it.
Some US correspondence on BBC news just now going on about US might/might not do if Iran ATTACKS israel.
Them poor israelis, getting ATTACKED again. Antisemites everywhere.
They’re their own existential threat&/i> FAACFS.
Sooner the planet’s rid of israel, the better. I won’t miss it/them.
That’s not how the “Rules Based International Order” works.
The USA and Israel are now the world’s rogue states. Out of control and unopposed. Whether destroying our NHS or spreading mass murder across the entire Middle East, they are placated by other so-called civilised allies. Meanwhile private equity and the tech edgelords laugh all the way to the bank. Which, at this rate, will only operate with crypto currency on Mars. The UK is pathetically compliant in all of this. The only anger our wretched mainstream politicians can muster is towards a few hundred desperate people in rubber dinghies. What brave boys and girls they are.
They even have the arrogance to admit their role in breaching international law.
Here’s Chump today on the so-called “Truth Social platform:
“I gave Iran chance after chance to make a deal. I told them, in the strongest of words, to “just do it,” but no matter how hard they tried, no matter how close they got, they just couldn’t get it done.
I told them it would be much worse than anything they know, anticipated, or were told, that the United States makes the best and most lethal military equipment anywhere in the World, BY FAR, and that Israel has a lot of it, with much more to come – And they know how to use it.
Certain Iranian hardliner’s spoke bravely, but they didn’t know what was about to happen. They are all DEAD now, and it will only get worse!
There has already been great death and destruction, but there is still time to make this slaughter, with the next already planned attacks being even more brutal, come to an end.
Iran must make a deal, before there is nothing left, and save what was once known as the Iranian Empire. No more death, no more destruction, JUST DO IT, BEFORE IT IS TOO LATE. God Bless You All!
US President Trump at 11:16, June 13, on his Truth Social platform*
*No one above six years of age will read the denial by US Secretary of State Marc Rubio, flatly contradicted by his boss’s post, as other than that the Trump administration can’t be bothered to get its plausible deniability story straight.

Iran might get nuclear weapons… So what! So has Russia, China, India, Pakistan, North Korea – and rogue state Israel. It’s not as if the superpowers don’t rip up their treaty obligations whenever they feel like it.
Meanwhile pathetic Starmer pleads for “de-escalation” and “restraint”, LOL.
And the Morning Star is reporting we are training Israeli troops, who have downed the equivalent of over 200 Air India flights
Bombing people is barbarism but it’s like you’re in a class at school and an abnoxious little squirt (Zionist Israel) is besties with the school bully (USA) who has his back & he keeps doing grotesque things; you could squash the little squirt like a fly but you’re wary of the bully’s reaction and it leading to a class pile in where a lot would get seriously hurt.
The first time Trump was in office he wanted to bomb Iran but his military advisors told him they had the missiles to take out every US & Israeli base in the Middle East so Trump made up some excuse & rolled back.
Iran still has these missiles but perhaps it does not want a regional escalation.
Lumpen Trump says he knew of the attack before hand but did nothing, it could be argued knowing something bad is about to happen which you could stop but don’t is passive complicity.
Some of us can remember when the world had political heavyweights as leaders instead of the current crop of political Nincompoops!
Yours in Peace.
Dropsite News……

….has this observation:
“Following serious Israeli attacks on its nuclear program, Iran is now faced with a choice between capitulating, retaliating, or withdrawing from the NPT and dashing towards a nuclear weapon. Given the nature of Iran’s military capabilities, which are based on a mix of sponsorship of non-state militia groups who wage sub-conventional warfare one one hand, and a massive fleet of ballistic and hypersonic missiles on the other, Iran’s ability to retaliate in a measured way that creates a deterrent without escalating the situation to a major war is limited.
“Iran’s strike capabilities are heavily optimized for two scenarios: low-key operations below the threshold of major military campaigns, or an all-in confrontation. Last April, its attack was very performative, whereas in October they decided to showcase some of their higher-end capabilities,” said Shahryar Pasandideh, a security analyst focused on defense issues. “But this time if Israel attacks Iran, the Iranians may retaliate by going for a qualitatively different set of targets.”
Iran may also choose not to retaliate in a sustained manner to Israel’s attacks if it decides instead that a better retaliation would be withdrawing from the NPT, expelling nuclear inspectors, and pursuing a nuclear weapon. That would mean that Iran’s immediate kinetic reaction may be limited, while the country prepares instead to develop a bomb outside of international monitoring.
“If there are far-reaching and non-symbolic attacks on Iranian nuclear sites, and the Iranians decide to go for nuclear breakout in response, it doesn’t make much sense to do sustained retaliatory missile attacks,” added Pasandideh. “It comes back to strike capabilities. If you are going to pursue a nuclear weapon in response to being attacked, it would be better to limit your retaliation to a one or two day campaign of missile strikes, and then husband the rest of your forces for a period of months or a year until you have rebuilt what you lost and are in a position to break out with a nuclear weapon.””
Not for the first time, Starmer has asked both sides to show “restraint” AFTER an Israeli attack. Weirdly he offered no such plea after 7th October, and claimed Israel had a right to defend itself. A total failure of even infant age logic – unless you’re defending only the AGGRESSORS.
Zionists, whose true religion and identity is Victimhood,
are offended by everything and ashamed of nothing.
Meanwhile, the inevitable knock on economic effects are already being reported.
Here’s Oil Price Intel providing details of the current start of rising energy prices:
https://oilprice.com/Energy/Energy-General/Oil-Prices-Soar-After-Israel-Targets-Irans-Nuclear-Program.html
“The geopolitical risk premium is back, with Israel’s strikes on Iran bringing ICE Brent futures to $75 per barrel in a world where OPEC+ continues to unwind its production cuts and global demand is decelerating due to Donald Trump’s tariff wars. Whilst oil infrastructure was not damaged in Israel’s strikes, the anticipation of Iran’s retaliation is already sending ripples across the oil industry, with the Red Sea becoming a target again and Israel’s gas fields pre-emptively halting production ahead of the weekend.
Israel’s Attack on Iran Marks Largest Daily Jump in Three Years. Israel’s attack on Iran sent crude prices to their highest in five months, stoking fears that further escalation would impede navigation through the Strait of Hormuz, a waterway transiting a fifth of global oil consumption, some 19 million b/d of crude and products.”
The other negative impacts are covered here by Scott Ritter:

Who notes that:
(a) Chumps “Truth Social” post removes any doubt across the Global Majority that it is pointless attempting to make any agreement with the US and the West because they are agreement incapable
and
(b) Israel has threatened to destroy the oil production of Iran if Iran retaliates. Meaning that Israel, as America’s proxy in the Region, is quite prepared to destroy the world economy.
