Johnson about to make idiot of himself with hypocritical ‘scathing’ attack on Corbyn

The S*n was tonight touting – idiotically – a speech – idiotic – to be made by Foreign Secretary Boris Johnson in which, to quote the tweeted words of the article’s author, he will ‘launch a blistering attack’ on Jeremy Corbyn for supposedly claiming that Britain’s foreign policy can increase the threat of terrorism in the UK.

So far, so predictable – the Establishment’s ‘smear Corbyn at any cost’ plan is as desperate as it is repetitive.

But Johnson – and the S*n – have ostrich-sized egg on their faces, not to mention apparently very short and selective memories.

A couple of weeks before the General Election, the hapless and hopeless former Defence Secretary Michael Fallon was brilliantly ambushed by Channel 4 News’ Krishnan Guru-Murthy.

It was comedy gold:

Fallon’s spluttering outrage at what he thought was a Corbyn ‘pretext’ for terrorism is memorable, because the words turned out to be those of none other than Fallon’s Tory colleague.

One Boris Johnson. Who said:

Isn’t is possible that things like the Iraq War did not create the problem of murderous Islamic fundamentalists, but the war has unquestionably sharpened the resentments felt by such people in this country and given them a new pretext.

Or in other words, Britain’s foreign policy can increase the threat of terrorism in the UK.

Johnson’s incompetence is so great that he will probably press ahead with his ridiculous speech anyway – a clear demonstration of why the Foreign Office is so embarrassed by his nonsense that it tells other governments not to listen to anything he says.

So it’s up to all of us to make sure this video is played everywhere the speech is played or mentioned.

  1. And in walks Blair. Creating a story so Blair’s newly hatched Co-Existence team policy on Islamist extremism can be debated and pushed into the media headlines? Political Posturing a charade

  2. No reasonable person can deny that our close alignment with American foreign policy, which has caused us to be involved in the disastrous interventions in Afghanistan, Iraq, Libya, Syria and Yemen, and which has associated us with apartheid states like Israel and headchopping regimes like Saudi Arabia, has boosted terrorist numbers at home and abroad and has degraded our national security.

  3. ”Thousands more deaths in Iraq will not make things right. It will set off a spiral of conflict, of hate, of misery, of desperation, that will fuel the wars, the conflict, the terrorism, the depression, and the misery of future generations. The way to free us from the scourge of war is to free ourselves from the scourge of injustice, of poverty, and the misery that’s associated with that. This movement, this movement is giving that message to the British government. Stop now, or pay a political price.Jeremy Corbyn 2003 .” The Conservatives need to pay up and stand aside

  4. Fallon when Defence Secretary announced a while back that the first UK bombing against so-called IS in Syria was against petrol distilling stations and oil refineries.
But the question is: were these facilities unstaffed at the time or staffed by non-combatant working (probably trades unionists)?
And perhaps if they were staffed when grotesque so-called IS comes to town you don’t have much say in the matter.
I just posed the question which was met with complete silence.
The West claims 800 civilians have been killed by Coalition strikes in Syria whilst Human Rights Groups claim it is more like 6,000.
The Tories including Boris ‘Where’s the Bus Boris?’ Johnson, and 66 Right Wing Labour MPs voted for bombing.
Can you take anything these little people say seriously?

  5. BUMBLE 1 (FALLON) BUMBLE 2 (JOHNSON).
    HAVE THEY GOT A CLUE?
BUMBLE 1 PUTS HIS FOOT IN HIS MOUTH THINKING HE’S RIGHT!
THEN STUMBLES OVER HIS LYING WORDS!
IT IS PANTO TIME, BUT NOBODY ON THE LEFT OR RIGHT IS LAUGHING!
THOSE ON THE RIGHT WOULD LOVE IT TO BE CORRECT!
THANK GOD FOR CHANNEL 4 NEWS AND KRISHNAN GURU-MURTHY.
