Sign/share petition to force weak May to #SackBorisJohnson

Theresa May’s humiliation after her failure in the General Election she called has continued to deepen in spite of persistent attempts by Tory politicians and the commentariat to minimise the impact of the loss of her majority to the ‘Corbyn surge’. So ‘weak and feeble’ is the Tory leader that Boris Johnson feels free to insult and manipulate her to his heart’s content. If he had a heart.

The absence of that organ has been made clear again by Johnson’s appallingly callous remarks about clearing dead bodies in Libya – to the amusement of his Tory audience and the dismay of decent people:

The reality of what Johnson seems to find a laughing matter is stark. The SKWAWKBOX makes no apologies for presenting that reality to its readers:

libya2libya

There are 500,000 displace people in Libya – and many thousands dead. But Johnson’s priority is “clearing the dead bodies” for the sake of tourists.

The UK’s Foreign Secretary should be concerned with bringing peace and security to the world, not exploiting and dehumanising people. He is not fit to serve – even in the opinion of some of his Tory colleagues:

But this outrage needs to be crystallised to have a hope of forcing a weak Prime Minister to do what she must – and no doubt wants to. A petition has been set up to do just that.

Theresa May gives her conference speech shortly – but she needs to be listening to the people rather than talking at them. We know that it is Johnson that needs to be ‘cleared’ out of the way, so we can hold our head up among nations.

Sign the petition and share it so she hears us.

  1. There is outrage at Johnson voicing the contempt British foreign policy, over decades, even centuries, has for the mass of people especially in countries rich in natural resources and with ongoing geo-political and geo-strategic interest to overall policy agenda.

I am outraged at most of British foreign policy full stop. I am outraged at the destruction of whole countries, societies and cultures, the deaths, the injuries inflicted, the orphans created, the lives destroyed, the millions fleeing the horror and violence only to die, be placed in camps or be caught in various trafficking criminal networks, the cruel even “genocidal” economic sanctions inflicted on the population causing death from starvation, lack of drugs and medical equipment and crashing of the economy designed to cause suffering leading to unrest. I am outraged at the hypocrisy, the untruths, the ‘mistakes’, the spin and omissions/silencing of so many voices in support of foreign policy agenda, the system of loans and aid with egregious strings attached that keep countries in poverty, dependent and a source of cheap labour and profitable exploitation of resources…

    I am outraged at this… https://www.facebook.com/AdrianMSF/posts/1679840348693719?pnref=story.unseen-section

Am I outraged at Johnson expressing a true face of British foreign policy… I am outraged at real horrors and suffering and that it is still so often seen as profit boom and share price rise opportunity…

  2. SIGNED AND DELIVERED!
LET US RID OURSELVES OF THIS CRASS BEING THEY CALL BJ!
MAYBE, HE SHOULD BE DOING WHAT HIS INITIALS PORTRAY, TO EARN HIS LIVING?
ALSO, LET US RID OURSELVES OF THIS SELF SERVING TORY GOVERNANCE, THAT ROBS THE POOR, TO PAY THE RICH!
CHOKE ON YOUR WORDS MAY, YOUR LIES AND SPIN MEAN SO MUCH FOR THOSE WHO HAVE NO COMPASSION!
NONE SO BLIND AS THOSE WHO CAN SEE!

  3. How can we have a Foreign Secretary as despicable and unfeeling as Boris Johnson? He’s a complete disgrace to our Government and his Party, and to our country. He has no idea of the horrors that decent Libyan people have to contend with every day, and the immense sorrow of all the families who have lost loved ones.
    Why hasn’t he been sacked?

  4. I can’t decide whether it’s better to get rid of Boris because he distracts from how weak and inept May is or keep him in post because his continuing presence illustrates how weak and inept May is.

  5. Boris Johnson is an embarrassment to the British people and is not fit to represent the British people abroad (or at home). His crass, cruel and insensitive remarks about the people of the Libyan city of Sirte are another example of his unfitness for office and Theresa May should have the courage to sack him.

  6. 4foxandhare: I take your point, but he can hardly be a disgrace to the Tory Government or to his party, as THEY are both a disgrace – an abomination in fact – in themselves.

And Maria: You summed it all up perfectly – ie the reality they create, and HAVE created, and the reality that so many don’t see. But for the psychopathic elites around the world our reality and our history would be totally different.

  7. “Boris Johnson is an embarrassment to the British people and is not fit to represent the British people abroad (or at home). His crass, cruel and insensitive remarks about the people of the Libyan city of Sirte are another example of his unfitness for office”

Agreed – but on the other hand he is doing a very good job at providing an insight into the Tory mind-set

  8. Not signing, I’m afraid. I’d love to see the divvy utterly broken & forced to ‘sign on’ every day – along with he rest of them.

She won’t sack him as the result of a petition – how many sign petiitons that they don’t even debate in parliament? – And even if she does, it will only garner the sympathy vote for the cretinous toff and keep him in the news. No – she’ll keep him on as an illusion to her ‘strong & stable’.

Napoleon once said: “Never interrupt your enemy when they’re making a mistake’.

    That applies here.

  9. Of course, the doctor – wollaston – (Well SHE knows what’s best for the NHS, doesn’t she?) reckons he should apologise and reconsider his position…

Has he got to murder somebody and rape their still-twitching corpse before he gets the tin-tack? How many more times, and who’s left that he hasn’t insulted?

But: ‘boris will be boris” as THEY say. He’s a middle-aged neanderthal F complete and total FS.

Gutless bastards – every last one of them. Oh, sorry – wollaston’s alright because she’s a doctor y’know?!

I’ll exclude heidi allen from that list as she’s ‘tweeted’ for him to be dismissed..But she’s still a tory. :/
