The SKWAWKBOX was invited by independent press regulator IMPRESS to register with the organisation and receive the IMPRESS Trust Mark for Trust in Journalism:

We have accepted the invitation and duly registered with the UK’s first and currently only independent press regulator. The mark is accordingly displayed on each page of this site.

This is a welcome recognition of the stature of the SKWAWKBOX and provides a framework for the handling of any issues raised by readers.

Further details are available on the blog’s ‘about’ page here.

The SKWAWKBOX needs your support. This blog is provided free of charge but depends on the generosity of its readers to be viable. 1. Excellent news and well done Steve. You deserve to be recognised for the stirling work you do.

  2. Well in! Not Before time 😀 Thoroughly deserved.

Get some, fawkes. Sniff it, hindson. 🙂

  3. This will highlight the credibility of the fake news mass media that judges itself, rather than a truly independent body.

We can democratically regulate the information purveyed as fact, but not when corrupt institutions are the only source as judge and jury.

  4. THE TRUTH WILL PREVAIL!
NOT BEFORE TIME STEVE THAT YOUR RECOGNISED AS A HONEST REPORTER!
WHICH WE HAVE KNOWN SINCE YOUR SET UP!
