SKWAWKBOX T-shirt design options

As published earlier, the SKWAWKBOX is planning to produce a batch of T-shirts in time for Labour’s annual Conference for delegates and anyone else. As our new design has now been published, the proposed design options can be shown.

One design has been mocked up in black, as some readers contacted the blog to say their favourite football team’s arch-rivals play in red so they’d struggle with the idea of wearing that colour. Depending on demand, both options might be available, but true democratic fashion the poll below will allow readers to select their preferred design and colour, so the winning options can be assessed.

Select your preference, results will be taken around 8pm Tues 29 August.

Design option 2:

  1. The white text boxes on the red background looks very amateur. Can the white parts become transparent with a darker outlining on the Skwawkbox text?

  2. I voted 1 because of contrast, I also like 5. Black isn’t my favourite base but realize difficult to colour contrast with the red logo..

  3. If the shirt is not to be red I would prefer it to be white rather than black, as the Skwawkbox stuff would stand out more on a white background than a black. Option four was the one I actually voted for btw, and I don’t agree with the earlier comment that the white box looks amateurish. When taking pictures of auction items (my paid job) I always go for a light background, white (created by a sheet of A4 paper) when scanning and off-white when photographing. Similarly when recently taking pictures of the King’s Lynn Heritage Open Day pamphlet for use on my blog I went for a white background – a light background compels attention to what you want people to actually see.

  4. 5 – In black. (I voted 1 in blk by mistake!)

Some people might think the ‘skwawkbox’ lettering on it’s own means the wearer’s some sort of gossip! 🙂

  5. Can you do option six with option 5 skwawkbox graphic on the back between shoulders? In black on bamboo T. thankyou.
