Labour in Telford – the Shropshire constituency held until recently by the problematic Lucy Allan – is asking for help from SKWAWKBOX readers. Word is that this morning’s GOTV (get out the vote) effort is that the response is great and the seat is there to be won – but that more help is urgently needed to knock doors and maximise turnout to ensure the win for Labour’s Kuldip Singh Sahota.
The campaign HQ is at:
71 Market St
Oakengates
TF2 6EA
but if you’re within reach of the town and can spare even a few hours, please call Alex Latham on 07903 204948 for instructions on where to turn up and what to do when you get there.
Enough efforts like this around the country to bring out the pro-Labour groundswell and we can see Labour in government tomorrow.
