BBC didn’t want you to see this #Corbyn video. Wonder why #GE17

On Sunday, Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn gave a short – less than 10 minutes – but towering speech that Sky News covered in full.

And the BBC covered not at all.

The speech is terrifying to the Establishment, because the statesmanlike Corbyn looks and sounds every inch the ‘Prime Minister in waiting’ that they’ve always told us he couldn’t be – and with his personal approval ratings now exceeding those of the Tory leader, it’s clear the country is recognising it.

In the speech, Corbyn stands tall and strong against terrorism, refuses to allow it to change him or cow the country. He holds May and her party to account for their actions that have made this country more vulnerable. He shows a genuine commitment to the safety and wellbeing of the people of the UK that dwarfs May’s and exposes it for a sham. He confirms that he will take any action necessary to protect us.

He challenges May and her party on its links with Saudi Arabia and its terror sponsorship.

And he does it all while promoting unity, not making noises about the end of civil freedoms, as May did in front of 10 Downing Street.

But Corbyn spoke from a position of strength, backed by a set of firm, costed manifesto policies for the security of our nation. May spoke from weakness, standing on a track record of cuts to police and our armed forces that a senior former police officer attacked unequivocally on TV this morning – also not covered by the BBC – as he called out May’s outright lies on police numbers.

Here are those policies:

And here is that speech in full, that the BBC didn’t want to show you. Watch and you won’t have to wonder too hard why:

  1. I was lucky just I switched on TV Sky showed Jeremy’s speech. I automatically registered in my mind that BBC showed as well. If BBC did not that could be considered as conspiracy and misguiding people of Nation especially such a crucial time for the election under the democratic government and the country as May said. Sky seems having got softer to Jeremy. They showed a comment by the Police rep. very early morning of the London Bridge Terrorism, who said that Jeremy has fully supported Police action and appreciated their quick action. Even the rep. sounded to my ear that Jeremy is PM material and he was wishing JC would be PM. If the BBC did not show the full speech of Jeremy’s very sophisticated and articulate and well script not like May which was very much like performance without any thoughts or pledge issue we must make complain to BBC. Labour Party should make complain to BBC especially Jeremy has lost days and time for his campaign. Hence it is very important to show the speech for sake of the democratic nation. How can you make a complaints for most efficient way?

  2. This speech by Jeremy Corbyn provides concrete steps to defeat terrorism and increase the security of the public.

It is the duty of the BBC to broadcast this speech.

If it fails to broadcast this speech in full today, the BBC will be acting against the national interest.

  3. Its time we with held BBC LICENSE MONEY until they act in the interest of the people that support them not the tory elite. No license money no money for tory liars thieves and cheats.

  4. LET US ALL HOPE, THAT THOSE WHO DON’T LISTEN, OPEN UP THEIR MINDS AND EARS.
IF THEY, TAKE THE TIME TO LISTEN TO EVERY WORD IN HIS SPEECH, INSTEAD OF JUST THE SNIPPETS, THAT SUIT THEIR IDEALS, SO THEY CAN THEN SPIN AND SPREAD CHINESE WHISPERS!
AS THE MEDIA HAS DONE SINCE HE BECAME THE LABOUR LEADER!

    1. Putting a web link up that people might find is a far cry from showing it on TV as they should have. They wanted to minimise its exposure

  5. Turn around Corbin. It was not long ago he said that Trident should be scrapped, even his defence minister echoed this and he would not use it. What sort of defence is this

  6. This has got to be one of the best speeches ever made by Corbyn. He offers hope where May only offers despair…
