Corbyn ahead of the game again: yesterday a.m. he talked cyber-security

Jeremy Corbyn has a decades-long record of being on the right side of history and yesterday was no exception. Yesterday, in his Chatham House appearance, he talked about the importance of cyber-security – neglected by an NHS under massive cost- and resource-strain – hours before yesterday’s ransomware attack on dozens of NHS hospitals and practices:

As it was revealed yesterday that the average spending of an NHS Trust on IT security management was just £22,000 and many trusts didn’t know if they spent anything, the Tories have to be held responsible. If hospitals can’t afford the absolute essentials for patient care, ‘IT stuff’ is bound to go onto the back burner.

Theresa May was Home Secretary for years before becoming PM. Amber Rudd has been Home Secretary became Home Secretary last year. Neither have done anything to protect us against cyber-attack.

Probably too busy with nonsense like the Snooper’s Charter and cutting police numbers and resources.

It’s more obvious every day that the Tories’ talk about national security is just that – talk. If you want a Prime Minister and a party that are ahead of the game and on the right side of history, there’s only one choice at this General Election: Jeremy Corbyn and his Labour team.
