I’m not going to get a ferry to campaign. I want to campaign somewhere accessible to where I live, in Belfast, but there aren’t any Labour candidates allowed in Northern Ireland, unfortunately. And the only hope of un-seating a ‘Tory-inclined’ DUP long-time sitting member in North Belfast is if Labour’s “sister-party” (hah!) the SDLP, decide NOT to put up a candidate, and thereby split the non-unionist vote, getting in a Sinn Fein MP—and said SF MPs refuse to take up their seats in Westminster. Anybody got any suggestions?
