It would be ironic, if irony hadn’t died recently in a suicide pact with satire. Laura Kuenssberg, whose name shouldn’t appear next to the word ‘journalist’ without the actual speech marks around ‘journalist’, has been named Political Journalist of the Year by the Press Gazette – something to do with’owning Brexit’, which apparently excuses all manner of twisted reporting on some stories and completely ignoring others.
